Der Standard EIA RS-485 geht bei Entfernungen von
1,2 km von einer Übertragungsgeschwindigkeit von
über 1 Mbaud aus. Die ELCONTROL-ENERGY NETGeräte lassen eine Übertragung bis höchsten 9600
Bit/Sek. zu. Das bietet eine größere Sicherheit in
Bezug auf Störungen und Leistungsverlust des
Signals. Dennoch ist es zweckmäßig, für diese
Produkte einen eigens dafür entwickelten Kabeltyp zu
verwenden.
El estándar EIA RS-485 prevé una velocidad de
transmisión superior a 1 Mbaud para distancias de
1,2 km. Los instrumentos Elcontrol Energy Net
permiten la transmisión con un máximo de hasta
9600 bit/seg. Esto garantiza mayor protección
contra posibilidad de interferencias y pérdida de
potencia de a señal. En todo caso, es conveniente
utilizar cables especialmente realizados para dicho
tipo de protocolo.

Lo standard EIA RS-485 prevede una velocità di
trasmissione superiore ad 1 Mbaud per distanze di
1.2 Km. La strumentazione Elcontrol Energy Net
consente la trasmissione fino ad un massimo di 9600
bit/sec.
Ciò offre migliori margini contro la possibilità di
disturbi e perdita di potenza del segnale. Tuttavia è
opportuno utilizzare cavi appositamente progettati
per tale tipo di protocollo.
The EIA RS-485 standard envisages a transmission
speed of over 1 Mbaud for a distance of 1.2 km. The
ELCONTROL ENERGY instrumentation allows
transmission at up to a maximum of 9600 bit/sec.
This offers better margins of protection against the risk
of disturbance and loss of signal power.
However, cables specially designed for this type of
protocol should be used.
