In a single day, the possibility to visit the Capital of the “Baroque”, a UNESCO heritage since
2002, to admire the mosaics of an ancient Roman villa and to discover the life of a fishing village.
Departure by bus with Tour Leader on board. Arrival at Noto and a visit on foot of the Baroque
historical center with its suggestive cathedral splendidly restored. Continue towards the archaeological site of the House of Tellaro to visit the wonderful mosaics of the IV century AD. Entrance

A minicruise to discover the Aeolian Islands, an archipelago of 7 islands north of Sicily, famous for their
lush vegetation and the typical Mediterranean architecture. The islands are the patrimony of humanity
as a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2000. This excursion is a short cruise that gives the opportunity
to visit two of them on the same day. Departure by bus with Tour Leader to the port of Milazzo and then
continue the journey by private-owned motorboat to the island of Lipari. After landing at Lipari, it is possible to visit the historical center with the Archaeological Park and the Cathedral. Free shopping time in
the typical shops on the island. Back on board and sailing along the “Faraglioni” and the “Horse’s Cave”.
Arrival at Vulcano and stopover on the island with the possibility to bathe in the sulfurous mud baths in

Two civilizations, the Greek and the Roman in one excursion. The opportunity to visit two antique cities of
art, UNESCO World Heritage sites. Across Sicily by bus with Tour Leader and Local Guide service towards
the city of Agrigento, situated on the south coast and famous for its archaeological park called “Valley
of the Temples” consisting of well-preserved temples built by the Greeks between 510 and 430 BC. Upon
arrival in Agrigento, visit the Valley of the Temples (Juno, Concordia, Hercules, Zeus, Castor and Pollux).
Break for lunch (extra). Continue to Piazza Armerina, in the center of Sicily for a visit to the well-known
“Villa Romana del Casale” of about 3,500 square meters with its famous Roman mosaics dating back to
the fourth century AD. Entrance fees to the sites extra (free for EU citizens under 18 years with a valid ID).
A unique occasion to admire the volcano Etna in the evocative atmosphere of the sunset. The volcano, perpetually active and UNESCO World Heritage site since 2013, with its 3,350 meters, is the
highest in Europe. Departure by bus with Tour Leader to arrive at Etna’s station of altitude 1.900
meters. Short stop for services. Optional ascent by off-road jeeps up to the authorized crater
areas at approximately 3,000 meters escorted by licensed Guides of the CAI (Italian Alpine Club).
Possibility to admire the sunset at a safe distance from the central crater. The darkness makes
it possible to observe better an eventual volcanic activity. Stop until sunset and return at 1,900
mt. Dinner in a typical restaurant is an optional extra. We strongly recommend warm clothing and

A full tour of Mount Etna, a UNESCO site since 2013, through the various valleys with the possibility to explore the slopes of the craters with the help of an on-board Tour Leader during the
tour. The excursion has as first destination the Alcantara Gorge, where we make a short stopover.
It is possible to walk along the river bed by paying an extra ticket. The trip continues on board
the “Circumetnea” an old traditional narrow-gauge train that goes around the foot of the volcano
reaching up to Adrano in the south. Then by bus again to reach “Rifugio Sapienza” at altitude
1,900 meters on the southern side. Stop with the possibility of soft trekking to visit the most
recent lava flows and the Silvestri craters, now extinct. Lunch is extra. Optional ascent by cable
car up to 2,500 meters and continuing on board jeeps up to the authorized crater zones at approximately 3,000 meters with the assistance of licensed Guides of the CAI (Italian Alpine Club).
Stop to admire the eventual activity of the summit craters in the area of security. We strongly
recommend warm clothing and suitable shoes.
CANCELLATIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
All tours offer a multilingual guide service. Acceptance of booking by SAT Group is subject to availability;
on the other hand it is the duty of the traveler to request all necessary information at the time of purchase.
SAT Group will refund the full fee if the tour cannot take place for reasons of force majeure or an insufficient
number of participants. In the event of cancellation by the passenger given not less than 24 hours before
departure, the cost of the excursion will be refunded minus 30% of the participation fee. No refund is due to
those passengers who do not show up at departure or give up part of the journey already begun. SAT Group
reserves the right to modify the itinerary even while in progress whenever it is deemed necessary and for reasons of force majeure. In case it is impossible to reach the Aeolian Islands by sea or Etna’s authorized crater
areas by jeeps and/or cable car due to technical reasons or adverse weather conditions, the refund will be
quantified according to the specific case and the contingent situations. SAT Group is not liable for costs arising from the failure to present themselves of the passengers at the meeting point for the return trip, so the
same passengers will have to sustain their own costs of transport for the return trip, as the Tour Leader, after
a limited time of waiting, will have to necessarily bring the group back to the point of origin. SAT Group, in the
quality of intermediary between the travelers, the transport carriers and hotels, cannot be held responsible for
any accidents, delays or irregularities, loss and/or damage to baggage and personal belongings, as likewise
for damages suffered by passengers incurred by a third party or by “forces majeures” causes (earthquakes,
floods, landslides, storms, hurricanes, strikes, riots, terrorist attacks etc.). The ascents to Etna’s authorized
crater areas are always escorted by guides of the CAI (Italian Alpine Club), who are responsible for the safety
of the travelers and are subordinated to the decisions of the relevant authorities in relation to the daily changes of volcanic activity that affect the altitude reached. SAT Group assumes no responsibility for any accident
or injury to persons, which may be caused by the explosive activity of the volcano and the irresponsible behavior of the travelers who do not follow the directives of the Alpine Guides. The high-altitude ascents are not
indicated for people with heart disease, asthmatics and pregnant women. The conduct of maritime excursions
is always subordinated to the decisions of the shipping company and that of the authorities. The visits from
the sea to the coast and to the “Sciara del Fuoco”, islands circumnavigation and evening supper on board are
subject to the sea weather conditions and at the discretion of the Commander. The travel program is covered
by the insurance policy according to specifications provided by the Italian law.

Suggestive mini cruise to explore two of the most famous Aeolian Islands, UNESCO world heritage site
since 2000: the elegant Panarea and the volcanic Stromboli. Panarea is very famous for its fine architecture and the patronage of the international jet-set, and Stromboli, island of a characteristic conical shape,
is dominated by a perpetually active volcano. Departure by bus with Tour Leader to the port of Milazzo and
proceeding on board a private-owned motorboat towards Panarea. Leisure time ashore to visit a typical
village, or to enjoy the beach and have lunch in a local restaurant (extra). Back on board again and sail
around the rocks in front of Panarea. Transfer to Stromboli to land for a tour of the island until sunset.
Return on board and light dinner with a typical Aeolian pasta dish with drinks included. Visit from the sea
of the “Sciara del Fuoco”, with its spectacular explosions weather permitting. Eco-tax to be paid on board

One excursion to get to know the Sicilian hinterland and the Tyrrhenian coast by visiting two of the most
important cities of art in Sicily: Palermo and Cefalù, UNESCO sites from 2015 for their Arab-Norman
itineraries. Palermo preserves the most important Arab-Norman, Byzantine and Spanish monuments.

With this excursion, the opportunity to visit Mount Etna, the highest active volcano in Europe, a UNESCO

A pleasant morning in Taormina learning to prepare delicious Sicilian recipes with the support and
advice of a master Chef. After cooking, you will taste your own creations over a cheerful lunch,
discussing the various culinary techniques acquired. Appointment at the Arch of Porta Messina,
the activity starts with a guided tour of the market of Taormina to buy the various ingredients with
the relative explanations and a small tasting of salamis and cheeses. Back at the restaurant the
Chef will explain the recipes in program during a coffee break. The preparation and the cooking
of the food will then start. The hand-made pasta represents the highlight of the activity. Once the
dishes are prepared, everybody is invited to the table for the typical festivity lunch with the tasting
of local wines described by the wine steward. At the end of the activity, each participant will receive
a certificate and an autographed apron as a souvenir of this special day.
