Nata nel 1976 nel Nord Est italiano, Magis è un’azienda di riferimento nel mondo del
design, il cui successo si basa sul desiderio di rendere accessibile a un’ampia fascia
di utilizzatori dei prodotti di alta qualità funzionale e tecnologica, sviluppati insieme
ai protagonisti del design internazionale, con una visione non solo estetica, ma anche
etica e poetica del progetto. Dedicati a un pubblico internazionale i prodotti Magis
sono 100% “Made in Italy”: una garanzia di alta qualità, che continua a rappresentare
uno dei maggiori patrimoni dell’azienda. Nel corso della sua storia ormai quarantennale,
i prodotti Magis sono entrati a far parte delle collezioni permanenti dei più importanti
musei nel mondo e sono stati insigniti di numerosissimi premi importanti, tra cui ben
tre Compasso d’Oro, ricevuti rispettivamente nel 2008 per Trioli (design Eero Aarnio),
nel 2011 per Steelwood Chair (design Ronan & Erwan Bourollec) e nel 2014 per Spun
(design Thomas Heatherwick).
Established in 1976 in the north east of Italy, Magis is now a prominent lodestar
in the design world, whose success is based on the desire to provide a broad swathe
of users with access to high functional and technological quality products, developed
in partnership with major international designers, with a vision of the resulting products
that is ethical and poetic as well as aesthetic. Magis products are dedicated to their
international public (exports account for some 85% of production), and are all 100%
“Made in Italy”: a guarantee of high quality, in line with the firm’s tradition, which
has developed from its craftsmanship and cultural roots, through the evolving styles
and industrial growth of the eighties and nineties, and continues to comprise one of
the company’s greatest and most valuable assets. Magis products are dedicated to

Throughout its 40 years old history, Magis products have become part of the permanent
collections of many museums around the world and have been awarded with various
important accolades, such as three Compasso d’Oro, won by Trioli (design Eero
Aarnio), in 2008, by Steelwood Chair (design Ronan & Erwan Bourollec) in 2011 and by
Spun (design Thomas Heatherwick) in 2014.
