NOVELTIES FOR THE SERVICE NETWORK
The number of customers and final users in Switzerland and Austria has recently increased, and Duplomatic
has
followed
this
development
of
the
requests
of
Assistance.
In order to offer the best possible service, we have discussed and agreed with the company HÖHNBERG
TECHNIK GmbH of ERLENSEE (close to Frankfurt), actually responsible for the territory of the German
Federal Republic, to entrust them with the Assistance to Customers in the German speaking part of Switzerland
and Austria.
For sure there are many practical, logistical and linguistic reasons that speak in favor of this move, whose final
goal is to offer a better service to our customers or end users, and we (this “we” means Duplomatic and
Höhnberg) are sure we will reach the results. Of course in the next weeks direct and specific communications
will be realized for all the involved Companies.
HIGHLIGHTS FROM IMTEX 2015 IN BANGALORE (INDIA)
As per tradition, Duplomatic was present at the IMTEX Show in Bangalore, the most important event in the
country for the Machine Tool Industry.
We can say that the IMTEX was successful both from the point of view of the products displayed, with the
presence of the most important manufacturers in the world, both for the remarkable number of visitors.
Surely India is today one of the emerging markets with the requirements to become a future market leader
both as a producer and consumer of M/T. The feeling was extremely excited by the current strengthening of
the Indian Rupee which allows local players to be more interested to foreign suppliers of high technology.
In this context, appreciation towards the products Duplomatic are not missed, remaining a reference point for
high performance and quality. In particular one of the main attractions was the application of new DM-TR
motor turrets fitted into two turning center with a pick-and-place robot integration.
From this show we return with confirmation that even in emerging countries many companies are developing
increasingly complex applications to stand out. As consequence, Duplomatic assumes an increasingly
important role, being considered as a partner capable to provide a consolidated experience in many years of
high-tech applications. To confirm this, the serious commitment of some manufacturers to develop Multitask
machines, prerogative until a few years ago of mature Markets like Europe and Japan.
In March 2015 Duplomatic will attend at TIMTOS Show in Taipei (Taiwan), where we expect an as much
important response.
TECHNOLOGY CORNER: WORK EASILY TITANIUM
After 10 years, an important partner in the production of titanium parts for the Aerospace industry keeps on
developing its new applications with Duplomatic’s heads.
This collaboration began as a technological challenge in the mid-2000s when the need was to increase the
production capacity of milling lines with fixed tool heads, resulting in many set-ups to process titanium parts.
The main requirement was to introduce a tilting B-axis to orient the tool without penalizing the rigidity of the
milling system.
Our experience in Multi-task applications, where the stiffness is a key requirement to make properly the
heavy turning process, allowed to develop a special milling head with high capacity for reducing vibrations.
The heart of this system is a toothed rings clamping device which similar specifications of traditional turning
tool turrets. Nowadays this is still the system that ensures maximum stiffness at same tangential torque.
As tooling, choice was for HSK-63 T-form in which the drivers are grinded to allow a perfect engagement
with the mill holder, minimizing the machining vibration due to backlash. Electro-spindle transmits a torque of
130 Nm in S6-40% at 1,500 rpm.
Thanks to the hereabove specifications, we were able to apply a milling cutter 5’’ with a result of surface
finishing of the parts similar to the application with fixed head.
After so many years, we are proud that Duplomatic is partly share in the success of the most modern models
of aircraft on which we are used to traveling.

NOVITA’ PER LA RETE DI ASSISTENZA
Di recente il numero di clienti ed utilizzatori finali in Svizzera ed Austria è aumentato e Duplomatic ha seguito
il conseguente incremento delle richieste di Assistenza.
Per offrire il miglior servizio possibile, abbiamo intavolato trattative con la Società HÖHNBERG TECHNIK
GmbH di ERLENSEE (nei pressi di Francoforte), al momento responsabile per il territorio della Repubblica
Federale Tedesca, e ci siamo accordati per affidare loro l’assistenza a clienti e utilizzatori finali nella
Svizzera Tedesca e in Austria.
Certamente ci sono molte ragioni pratiche, logistiche e linguistiche che spingono in questa direzione, con
l’obbiettivo finale di offrire a clienti ed utilizzatori un miglior servizio e noi (con “noi” intendiamo Duplomatic e
Höhnberg) siamo sicuri di raggiungere il risultato. Naturalmente nelle prossime settimane verranno realizzate
comunicazioni dirette e specifiche per tutte le Società coinvolte.
SPUNTI DA IMTEX 2015 A BANGALORE (INDIA)
Come da tradizione, Duplomatic era presente alla Fiera IMTEX a Bangalore, la più importante manifestazione
del Paese per il settore Macchina Utensile. Possiamo dire che la IMTEX è stata un successo sia dal punto di
vista dei prodotti esposti, con la presenza dei più importanti costruttori mondiali, sia per la notevole affluenza
di visitatori. Sicuramente l’India è oggi uno dei mercati emergenti con le premesse per diventare un futuro
mercato leader, sia come produttore che come consumatore di M/U. Il clima era oltremodo ravvivato
dall’attuale rafforzamento della Rupia Indiana che permette ai players locali di guardare in maniera più
interessata ai fornitori stranieri di alta tecnologia.
In questo contesto gli attestati di stima verso i prodotti Duplomatic non sono mancati, rimanendo un punto di
riferimento per chi cerca alte prestazioni e qualità. Ad attrarre l’interesse è stata in particolare l’applicazione
delle nuove torrette motorizzate DM-TR a motore diretto in due centri di tornitura asserviti da un robot di
carico/scarico pezzi.
Da questa fiera torniamo con la conferma che anche nei Paesi emergenti le aziende hanno necessità di
distinguersi sviluppando applicazioni sempre più complesse e prestazionali. Di conseguenza Duplomatic
assume un ruolo sempre più importante, essendo percepito come un partner in grado di trasmettere
un’esperienza consolidata in molti anni di applicazioni high tech. A conferma di ciò, è il serio impegno di alcuni
costruttori di sviluppare macchine Multitask ad appannaggio fino a pochi anni fa di mercati maturi come Europa
e Giappone.
Nel mese di marzo Duplomatic sarà presente alla fiera Timtos 2015 di Taipei (Taiwan), dove ci aspettiamo
un riscontro altrettanto importante.
L’ANGOLO TECNOLOGICO: LAVORIAMO FACILMENTE IL TITANIO
Dopo ben 10 anni, un importante partner nella produzione di particolari in titanio per il settore Aerospace
continua a sviluppare le sue nuove applicazioni con le teste di fresatura Duplomatic.
Questa collaborazione nasce come sfida tecnologica a metà degli anni 2000 in cui l’esigenza era di aumentare
la capacità produttiva di linee di fresatura con asse utensile fisso, comportando diversi set up dei pezzi in
titanio. L’esigenza principale era quella di introdurre un asse-B tiltante per orientare l’utensile, senza però
penalizzare la rigidità del sistema di fresatura.
La nostra esperienza nelle applicazioni Multi-task, in cui la rigidità è un requisito fondamentale per affrontare
le lavorazioni di tornitura pesante, ha permesso di derivare una testa di sola fresatura con un’alta capacità di
abbattere le vibrazioni. Cuore di questo sistema è un dispositivo di bloccaggio ad anelli dentati che riproduce
le caratteristiche costruttive delle tradizionali torrette portautensili di tornitura. Ad oggi questo è ancora il
sistema che garantisce massima rigidità a parità di coppia torsionale.
Come attacco utensile si è scelto l’HSK-63 nella forma T in cui i naselli di trascinamento sono rettificati per
permettere un perfetto accoppiamento con il portafresa, riducendo al minimo i giochi che innescano le
vibrazioni durante la lavorazione. A monte, l’elettromandrino trasmette una coppia in S6-40% di 130 Nm a
1.500 giri/min. Grazie alle specifiche appena descritte, si è potuto arrivati ad applicare una fresa da 5” con un
risultato di finitura superficiale dei pezzi analoga all’applicazione con testa fissa.
Dopo tanti anni, siamo orgogliosi che Duplomatic sia in parte partecipe del successo dei più moderni modelli
di aeromobili su cui siamo abituati a viaggiare.
