The Irish knitwear label Inis Meáin
continues to be inspired by the
workwear archives typical of the three
Aran Islands. The A/W 2015 collection
by the Irish label introduces new colour
assortments in wool, wool/cashmere,
and baby alpaca/silk mixed with
County Donegal marls. The stone fence
patterns, called in Gaelic claíhocaí,
reflect the fence maze typical of the
Aran Islands and are carried over again
in the new collection.

a ispirarsi all’archivio del semplice
abbigliamento da lavoro tipico delle
tre isole di Aran. Il marchio irlandese
ha introdotto nuovi assortimenti
cromatici in lana, lana/cashmere e
baby alpaca/seta, mischiate con marne
della contea di Donegal. Prosegue
anche il pattern dei recinti in pietra
(Claíhocaí in gaelico), che rispecchia
