sono lieto di presentarvi il
programma di Addis Abeba della
“Settimana della Cucina Italiana nel
Mondo”. Si tratta della prima edizione
di una manifestazione che presenta
il meglio della cucina italiana e del
“marchio Italia” in piu’ di 100 Paesi,
grazie all’organizzazione di circa 1400
eventi (degustazioni, cene di gala,
rassegne cinematografiche, concorsi,
conferenze, ecc.).
In Etiopia, viene proposto un
programma di eventi ideato
insieme ai Ristoranti Italiani. Oltre
all’Ambasciata, hanno dato il proprio
supporto organizzativo anche
l’Istituto di Cultura e l’Agenzia ICE;
ringrazio altresi’ gli sponsor ENAIP

it is with great pleasure that I present
the Addis Ababa program of the “Week
of the Italian Cuisine in the World”.
This is the first edition of an event
that presents the best of the Italian
cuisine and the “brand Italia” in more
than 100 countries, by organizing
about 1400 happenings (tastings, gala
dinners, film festivals, competitions,
conferences, etc.).
In Ethiopia, it is offered a programme
of events designed in cooperation with
Italian Restaurants. Together with
the Embassy, also the Italian Institute
of Culture and ICE-Italian Trade
Agency supported the organization of
the events; I also thank the sponsors
ENAIP Social Enterprise, SaliniImpregilo, Conegliano Wine School
and Ethiopian Airlines, for
their valuable contribution
to the programme.
I therefore wish the best
success to all the events of
the “Week of the Italian
Cuisine” in Addis Ababa.
