53 Greene Street è uno splendido progetto realizzato a Soho, una minuziosa trasformazione di un
precedente edificio in 5 piani a loft e con una spettacolare Penthouse duplex.
Nel progetto 53 Greene Street integrità del design significa molto di più che accordare tra loro
principi di progettazione antichi con strumenti moderni e funzionali.
53 Greene Street unisce le vision di due rinomati studi di architettura RSVP Architecture Studio e NPlus Architettura e Design.
Le dimensioni imponenti e i dettagli degli esterni dell'edificio in classico stile Beaux-Arts che
abbellisce Soho Street, sono stati attentamente conservati. L'ampia facciata storica si contrappone
discretamente alla globalità degli interni progettati a regola d’arte e completamente ricostruiti per
sfruttare i volumi di un tempo, completandoli con tutti i comfort e la comodità che la tecnologia
moderna può offrire, utilizzando materiali di grande qualità per ottenere una estetica ed un design
sofisticati. La coerenza di scala e di intenti, la cura del dettaglio, una rara sensibilità per i materiali
sono segni distintivi di un progetto di qualità.
L’obiettivo è stato quello di integrare gli esterni classici che si adattano perfettamente nel panorama
della strada, con interni altamente funzionali pensati per creare ambienti ideali per uno stile di vita
d’elite.
Il progetto della penthause all’ultimo piano dell'edificio ruota intorno all'idea di complementarietà tra
gli spazi interni ed esterni. Le ampie aperture in vetro, oltre ad offrire una straordinaria vista del
centro di Manhattan, collegano visivamente e funzionalmente l'attico alla terrazza che lo circonda.
Una volta che i serramenti scorrevoli vengono aperti lo spazio diventa un continuum; l'open space
risultante può essere utilizzato stagionalmente come una grande area living con al centro il patio
coperto che ospita un’ampia zona pranzo con camino.
Nei bagni di 53 Greene Street sono state scelte diverse collezioni Zucchetti: Aguablu, Jingle e
Faraway si integrano perfettamente con gli eleganti e raffinati interni metropolitani.

53 Greene Street combines the extraordinary visions of two award-winning architecture firms RSVP
Architecture Studio and N-Plus Architecture and Design.
They preserved the stately dimensions and impeccably integrated details of the building’s classic
Beaux-Arts exterior that graces this Soho Street.
The wide historic facade discreetly contraposes a comprehensive state of the art interior, completely
rebuilt to take advantage of the available voluminous dimensions of yesteryear, while providing with
all the comfort and convenience modern technology can deliver. The most noble materials
committed to a sophisticated design aesthetic.
Hallmark of superior design are consistency of scale and purpose, aesthetics of detail, a rare
sensitivity to materials.
The goal has been to integrate a classic exterior that subtly enhances the streetscape with a highly
functional interior dedicated to providing an impeccable setting for an elite lifestyle.
The design of the top floor of the building revolves around the idea of interior and outdoor as
complementary spaces.
The extensive glass openings, in addition to offering an extraordinary view of downtown Manhattan,
link visually and functionally the penthouse to the terraces that surround it.
Once the massive glass doors slide open the space becomes a continuum. The resulting open plan
can be seasonally furnished as a lounge with its centerpiece being the covered patio boasting a
generous dining area with fireplace.
In 53 Greene Street bathrooms different Zucchetti faucets collections have been used: Aguablu,
Jingle and Faraway perfectly match with the elegant and refined metropolitan interiors.
