Day 1: Berlin
Morning arrival in Berlin. Meet and greet with the tour leader and start the
panoramic tour of the city: The Zoo, The Church of Memories, The Victory
Column, Tiergarten Park and the Brandenburg Gate. Then, transfer to hotel, dinner and overnight.
Day 2: Berlin
Breakfast. Full day guided city tour: the Bellevue Palace, Unter den Linden Boulevard, Potsdamerplatz, the St. Nicole district. Time at disposal
for lunch (not included). In the afternoon, continue sightseeing: Gendarmenmarkt Square and the historical trademark checkpoint Charlie. Time at
leisure for a walk, then back to hotel. Dinner and overnight.
Day 3: Berlin - Potsdam
Breakfast. Departure to Potsdam, Brandenburg capital and home of Frederick the Great. Tour of the Sans Souci Castle, with iits palaces, gardens
and astonishing Library. Lunch in the city center. In the early afternoon visit
the Dutch Quarter. Return to the hotel, dinner and overnight.
Day 4: Dresden - Munich
Breakfast. Departure to Dresden, known as “the Florence of the Elbe”.
Guided tour of the historic centre, with the Opera, the Zwinger Palace and
the Church of Notre Dame. Then drive on to Munich, with en-route lunch
stop over. Hotel checkin, dinner overnight.
Day 5: Munich
Breakfast. Full Day guided city tour of Munich, capital of the Bavaria: the
Maximilianeum, Place Royal, the Olympic village. Time at leisure for lunch
(not included).
In the afternoon, continue sightseeing with a walk downtown: Marienplatz,
the town hall in Gothic style, the towers of the Notre Dame Church (symbol
of the city), Palace of the Dukes of Bavaria, the old brewery Hofbrauhaus.
Dinner and overnight hotel.
Day 6: Munich - Venice
Breakfast. Departure towards the Italian border, then Bolzano/Trento /Verona. En route stop for lunch (not included). Late afternoon arrival in Venezia
Mestre. Hotel checkin, dinner and overnight.
for Florence. Stop for lunch (not included) and stop in Padua to see the
amazing frescos by Giotto and the Church of St. Anthony. Drive on to Florence and, on arrival, first panoramic tour of the city. Hotel checkin. Dinner
and overnight.
Day 9: Florence - Fiesole
Breakfast. Meet the guide and continue the guided tour of the historic city
centre: the Church of Santa Maria del Fiore, the Baptistery, Giotto’s Tower,
Piazza della Signoria, Ponte Vecchio. Time at leisure fr lunch (not included)
In the afternoon visit the lovely little town of Fiesole, so dear to the Romans,
with its majestic Amphitheatre. Return to hotel, dinner and overnight.
Day 10: Florence - Rome
Breakfast. Morning dedicated to the visit of the Uffizi Museum, home to art
masterpieces by Giotto, Beato Angelico, Leonardo Da Vinci, Raphael, Filippino Lippi, Botticelli. Free lunch and, in the afternoon, drive to Rome. Arrival
and immediate start of the panoramic tour of the city. Then, hotel check in,
dinner and overnight.
Day 11: Rome
Breakfast. Start the full day guided city tour of “Imperial Rome”: the Colosseum, Campidoglio, Baths of Caracalla. Lunch not included. Then on to
the Pantheon, Piazza Navona, Piazza di Spagna with the famous Spanish
Steps,the Trevi Fountain. Return to hotel, dinner and overnight.
Day 12: Rome
Breakfast. Morning dedicated to a guided tour of the Vatican: the Museums
and the Sistine Chapel, St. Peter’s Basilica and Square. Time at disposal
for lunch (not included). In the afternoon, departure for excursion to the hills
around the city: Frascati, Castel Gandolfo to see the Pope’s Summer Residence, and then Bracciano, Genzano, Ariccia. Stop for wine tasting. Dinner
in a typical restaurant in Ariccia. Return to hotel, overnight.
Day 13: Rome
Breakfast.Transfer to Rome Airport and end of services.

Day 7: Venice - Tronchetto
Breakfast. Leave for Venice/ Tronchetto, then embark on a private boat
to Piazza San Marco. Meet the guide for the city tour: Piazza San Marco,
the Doge’s Palace, the Tower, The Rialto Bridge, the Bridge of Sighs. Free
lunch. Afternoon Departure by private boat to the Islands in the lagoon:
Murano, with its famous glass-blowing artisans, Burano and Torcello, with
the Basilica of Santa Maria Assunta and its impressive mosaics. Return to
Venice and time at disposal. Possibility to go on an optional gondola ride.
Return to hotel, dinner and overnight.
Day 8: Venice - Florence
Breakfast. In the morning, continue the city tour: the Rialto District, the
Church Of La Salute. Late morning transfer back to Tronchetto, then leave
21
