Dedicato al Principe Giovanni Rosso di Cerami, fondatore del San
Domenico Palace Hotel, il Gourmet Restaurant, insignito di due
stelle Michelin, è situato all’interno di una sala dal design raffinato ed
affascinante. Nei mesi caldi si sposta sulla terrazza panoramica con
vista mozzafiato sull’incantevole baia di Taormina ed il Vulcano Etna
a fare da cornice.

Named after the San Domenico’s founder Prince Giovanni Rosso di
Cerami, the Restaurant, awarded with two Michelin stars, is located in a
private and elegant room which design reminds the prince dining room.
During the summer season it moves to the front terrace overlooking the
spectacular bay of Taormina, the San Domenico’s Garden and Etna
Volcano.

L'elegante ristorante "Principe Cerami", è il regno dello chef Massimo
Mantarro, già premiato con due stelle Michelin nel 2012.
In questo vero e proprio atelier di haute cuisine, Massimo Mantarro
conduce il suo viaggio per esplorare la gastronomia della sua terra, e la
sua trasformazione in una moderna cucina mediterranea leggera e
appassionante, in cui le consistenze e le combinazioni di ingredienti
variano, ma tutto il resto rimane fedele alla tradizionale armonia di
sapori siciliani. I menù di Mantarro sono il risultato di una fusione tra
tradizione e innovazione all'interno di una cultura culinaria ricca
come quella della Sicilia.
The elegant eatery “Principe Cerami Restaurant”, is the realm of the chef
Massimo Mantarro, already awarded with two Michelin stars in 2012. In
this veritable atelier of haute cuisine, Massimo Mantarro leads his journey
by exploring the gastronomy of his homeland, and its transformation into
light and exciting modern Mediterranean cuisine, in which the
consistencies and the combinations of ingredients vary, but all the rest
remains faithful to the traditional harmony of Sicilian flavors. Mantarro's
menus are the result of his conviction that there is room for both tradition
and innovation within a culinary culture as varied as that of Sicily.
