SINONIMI RILEVANTI DESCRIZIONE Conchiglia di dimensioni fino a 15 mm. Equivalve, scultura costituita da piccole costole che si biforcano. Margine ventrale arcuato corrispondente con l’incavo del bisso. Può essere confusa con Septifer forskali, ma ne differisce per la posizione degli amboni. S. bilocularis ha un ambone terminale, mentre S. forskali ne ha uno in posizione sub terminale (Albayrak & Caglar, 2006). COROLOGIA / AFFINITA’ Senza Dati. DISTRIBUZIONE ATTUALE Indo-Pacifico, Africa sud e est, Golfo Persico, Mar Rosso, Canale di Suez, Mediterraneo: Turchia, Israele.
