Saverio Clemente Andrea De Amici Luca Targetti Born in Udine, Filippo Fontana starts at 10 his music studies learning clarinet and giving, as soloists, concerts with piano and chamber orchestras. He approaches then the singing under the guidance of Anna Maria Bicciato and Enza Ferrari. In 2009-2011 he attends at Accademia del Teatro alla Scala, working with Alva, Bruson, Freni, Serra and with pianist as Vincent Scalera and James Vaughan, taking part at masterclasses about opera brillante with Enzo Dara and about acting with Antonio Albanese and Marco Gandini. Immediately after this period, he debuts at Teatro alla Scala as Procolo in Donizetti's Le convenienze ed inconvenienze teatrali, then in tournée in Aalborg/Denmark. At La Scala he performed also Martino in Rossini's L’occasione fa il ladro in 2010 as well as Taddeo in L’italiana in Algeri in 2011. Filippo Fontana Baritono Finalist in the most important Lyrical Competitions, he wins the first prize at 62° Concorso dell’AsLiCo for the role of Beaupertuis in Nino Rota's Il Cappello di paglia di Firenze and performed this role in the Theatres of the 'Circuito Lombardo'. He sang Batone in Rossini's L'inganno felice at Teatro la Fenice in Venice, Belcore in L'elisir d'amore in Montpellier, Barone Trombonok in Il Viaggio a Reims in Pesaro with Accademia Rossiniana, Masetto in Don Giovanni in Trento, Conte Robinson in Il matrimonio segreto in Novara and Tesoriere La Rocca in Un giorno di regno in Verona. Filippo Fontana worked with the conductors Sergio Alapont, Andrea Battistoni, Antonello Allemandi, Fabrizio Carminati, Carlo Goldstein, Marco Guidarini, Francesco Lanzillotta, Pietro Mianiti, Yannick NézetSéguin, Stefano Montanari, Stefano Ranzani e Daniele Rustioni. About his concerts, he performed in Italy, Spain, Russia, England, Greece and Germany with Vincent Scalera, James Vaughan as pianist and with I cameristi della Scala. He is graduated in Multimedia Science and Tecnology in Udine's University. He is now improving his vocal technique with M° Roberto Coviello. Among his recent and future engagements Beaupertuis in Il Cappello di paglia di Firenze at Wexford Festival and in Florence, Taddeo in L’Italiana in Algeri in Verona, Figaro in Il barbiere di Siviglia in Florence and Oviedo, again Batone in L'inganno felice and the title role in Il Signor Bruschino at La Fenice, Dandini in Cenerentola and the title role in Don Bucefalo at the Wexford Festival, Puccini's Messa di Gloria and Ben in Menotti's Il telefono in Cagliari, Don Bartolo in Il barbiere di Siviglia in Florence, Slok in La Cambiale di Matrimonio in Venice, Germano in La scala di seta wit the 'Circuito Lombardo' theaters, Dandini in La Cenerentola in Rome, Bartolo in Il Barbiere di Siviglia in Pesaro for the Rossini celebrations and at the Florence Opera, again the title role in Il Signor Bruschino at la Fenice.
