Experience
Monica’s professional career has developed within international law firms .
She works as senior associate with KStudio Associato, Via Vittor Pisani 27, Milan, a leading
tax and consultancy firm operating within an international context..
She specializes in legal advice to corporate clients on compliance (AML), intellectual property,
ordinary management and extraordinary transactions (acquisitions).
She is a speaker at seminars, workshops and training courses.
Monica is a Contract Professor at the University of Pavia, Department of Economics, Course of
International Business Law (Academic Years from 2009/2010 to 2012/2013).
Compliance
Monica specializes in legal compliance, primarily with anti-money laundering and counterterrorist financing laws and regulations, but also regulatory and data protection.
She is the legal advisor for the whole KPMG network on anti-money laundering and counterterrorist financing regulations and is a member of the working committee of Assirevi
(Associazione Italiana Revisori Contabili) on anti-money laundering regulations. Her role
involves the drafting of technical documents and participation in the consultation processes
promoted by the competent authorities, also within an international context, with respect to the
upcoming primary and secondary-level regulations.
Legal assistance to corporate clients
Legal assistance to multinational corporate clients, consisting mainly in the provision of legal
advice on contractual and intellectual property issues, as well as the drafting and review of
contracts, including in the fields of e- commerce, logistics, carriage and insurance.
M&A
Legal assistance in M&A transactions. Responsibility for all phases of the acquisition process,
drafting of contractual documents, and assistance in negotiations and at closing. Preliminary
examination of antitrust issues. Responsibility for and coordination of due diligence processes.
Rucellai & Raffaelli
Before joining KStudio Associato in 1996, Monica did her legal training at Rucellai &
Raffaelli, a law firm in Milan, where she worked mainly within the litigation department,
specializing in industrial property cases.
