As part of a research team with Dr. Claudia Cinelli and Damiano De Felice (supervision of Prof.
Andrea de Guttry, Sant’Anna School of Advanced Studies), produced the report “Imprese e Diritti
Umani: il caso Italia” (business and human rights in Italy) that will serve as the basis for the
forthcoming National Plan on Business and Human Rights of the Italian Government. The report was
officially presented at the Italian Parliament on 13 November 2013 (see here).
Funding awarded for the project: 30’000 euros.

Project associate of the Essex Business and Human Rights Project (EBHR)
University of Essex, School of Law (Colchester, UK). Project Director: Prof. Sheldon Leader.
As part of this team, worked on: amicus curiae submission to the UK OECD National Contact Point
regarding the human rights impact of a coal mine project in Bangladesh; a project on Afghanistan’s
Mineral Law reform and its impact on human rights; a project on gold mining and human rights in
Senegal; child labour in the cotton production of Uzbekistan.
