24 ORE DI LE MANS, 75a edizione – GARA
Si è conclusa la gara endurance più antica e prestigiosa del mondo, la
75a edizione della 24 ore di Le Mans.
Davanti ad un pubblico che contava più di 250.000 spettatori, BMS
Scuderia Italia, ha conquistato la 6a posizione nella categoria LMGT1 e
un importante 11° posto nella classifica generale.
La vettura Aston Martin DBR9 n. 100, gommata Pirelli, ha completato
336 giri (1 giro = 13,629 km) in 24:02:42.736 (3:52.281 il suo giro più
veloce).
Fabio Babini: “ Sono contento di aver finito questa gara molto
combattuta con quasi tutte le GT1 all’arrivo, cosa che conferma l’alta
competitività di questa classe. Ottima esperienza con un risultato che ci
ripaga degli sforzi fatti e ci dà la carica giusta per i prossimi impegni
nel FIA GT. La macchina, a parte un ammortizzatore rotto che ci ha
fermato per 6 minuti, si è ben comportata denunciando una dichiarata
affidabilità”.
Jamie Davies: “ Gara dura con pioggia all’inizio, una lunga parte
centrale asciutta ed ancora pioggia nel finale, un risultato degno di
BMS Scuderia Italia ed una grande soddisfazione l’attraversare il
traguardo finale guidando. La macchina perfetta è di buon auspicio per
il futuro”.
Matteo Malucelli: “ La mia prima 24 ore finita e proprio qui a Le
Mans: una grande soddisfazione, anche con un discreto risultato. Tre
stint tripli sono stati veramente duri ma il team ha pienamente
assecondato la mia azione”.

LE MANS 24 HOURS, 75th Edition – RACE
Has just finished the oldest and most prestigious endurance race of the
World, the 75th Edition of the Le Mans 24 Hours.
In front of more than 250.000 people BMS Scuderia Italia has reached
the 6th position in the LMGT1 category and a 11th place in the general
classification.
The car Aston Martin DBR9 n. 100, with Pirelli tyres, completed 336
laps (1 lap = 13,629 km) in 24:02:42.736 (3:52.281 its best/fastest lap).
Fabio Babini: “I am very happy having finished this competitive race
with almost the GT1 cars arrived to the finish line, which confirms the
high competitive level of this series. Excellent experience with a big
result that repay the endured efforts and give us the right spur in sight
of the FIA GT Championship’ next appointments. The car, apart from
the broken shock-absorber which has stopped us for 6 minutes, has
shown itself to everybody to be very reliable and competitive.
Jamie Davies: “Hard race with strong rain on the beginning, a long
central dry part and rain again in the final part of the race, a result
worthy of BMS Scuderia Italia and a big satisfaction to cross the finish
line driving the car. The perfect car is a good omen for the next future”.
Matteo Malucelli: “Is my first concluded 24 hours and exactly here in
Le Mans: such a big satisfaction also together with a fairly result. Three
triple stints have been very heavy and hard to endure but the team has
helped me and granted my action”.
