ENGLISH PROGRAMS
• General English / IELTS - TOEFL Preparation / Academic English
Important: Students who enroll in at least 14 weeks of any English program in
a Category 1 school will be able to get the 20hs working permission.
Orientation: on the first day, the student receives a comprehensive orientation,
followed by a placed test to ensure a proper class level.
Regular Testing: to assess student’s progress, students are assessed every six
weeks, and moved up level if appropriate.
Certification: when completing the course the student receives a certificate
detailing the levels reached.
Evaluation: the student has the opportunity to evaluate their own progress, as
well as the school, their class and the teachers.

 Approved by NZ Qualification Authority
 Entry Requirement: IELTS 5.5 or equivalent
 Enable to teach English in non-English speaking countries

Diploma Courses for those who wish to immigrate
 Who obtain an Job Offer or is already working for a period of less
than 12 months receive 50 points
 In terms of age, the system offers the following score:
• 20-29 - 30 points
• 30-39 years - 25 points
• 40-44 years - 20 points
• 45-49 years - 10 points
• 50-55 years - 5 points
 This is a demonstration of how many points you can make
• 50 points – Diploma (level 7)
• 30 points - Age 20-29
• 50 points - Labour supply (Job Offer)
• 15 points (bonus) - If the candidate validate their home country qualification in NZ
• Total: 150 points
Who wish to submit their applications in EOI (Expression of Interest), must reach at least 100 points.
