Storia
Story
La nostra fabbrica nasce nel lontano 1892 ed
ha una storia tutta famigliare. Nuove forme e
colori, profumi e fragranze, nascono ogni anno
nel nostro laboratorio di Bergamo e la nostra
famiglia, erede di una tradizione più che
centenaria, sorveglia con cura e attenzioni
speciali tutte le fasi della lavorazione del
nostro prodotto. Usiamo solo ingredienti di
prima qualità, nel rispetto della stessa tradizione
di eccellenza che il nostro antenato fondatore
ci ha insegnato a perseguire. Le nostre candele
sono, per questo motivo, tutte fatte a mano e
prodotte con un lungo processo di lavorazione.
Le piccole differenze generate da questo
particolare procedimento di produzione
arricchiscono, infatti, i nostri prodotti e sono
preziosa garanzia di genuinità e unicità per il
consumatore.
L’orgoglio di possedere queste creazioni,
uniche e pregiate, incanta i nostri clienti - sparsi
in più di 60 Paesi esteri - ed è il patrimonio che
la nostra famiglia affida, sin dal 1892, alla
nostra affezionata clientela.
Our factory was established in 1892 and has a
story entirely familiar.
New shapes and colours, perfumes and
fragrances are studied each year in our
workshop in Bergamo (Italy) and our family, the
heir of a more than centennial tradition, oversees
all the phases of our production with utmost
attention and care. We use only high quality
materials in the respect of the same tradition of
excellence our founder taught us to pursue.
Our candles are all handmade and produced
with a long manufacturing process.
Some imperceptible differences made by these
particular procedures enrich our products and
they are a precious guarantee of uniqueness for
the consumer. The pride to possess these
creations, unique and precious, enchants our
customers, spread in more than 60 countries all
around the world and it is the asset that our
family entrusts to our affectionate customers since
1892.

E’ il dettaglio a fare di una grande opera un
capolavoro. Nella raffinatezza delle trame,
nella cura del particolare, nell’eleganza degli
intagli Pernici investe tutte le sue preziose
conoscenze, regalando non più semplici candele
ma manufatti eccellenti che nobilitano ogni
ambiente. Perché “fare bene”, per noi di Pernici,
non è mai cencedersi un lusso.
It is the detail that makes a great work a
masterpiece. Pernici invests all its valuable
knowledge in the refinement of the design, the
attention to detail, and the elegance of the
carvings, giving not just simple candles but
excellent ar tefacts that ennoble ever y
environment. “Doing it well” doesn’t make it an
indulgence for Pernici.

designer
Daniela Bigon
Dopo essersi laureata in disegno industriale presso la facoltà di
Architettura di Venezia, ha lavorato come graphic designer presso
uno dei più innovativi centri di comunicazione e design in Italia.
In questo periodo si è occupata di numerosi progetti legati a diversi
aspetti della comunicazione visiva del prodotto: dalla segnaletica
alle insegne dei negozi, dal materiale POP come cartoline e
shopping bags al packaging, dal textile design al design di prodotto.
Dal 2006 ha iniziato la sua attività di designer freelance
collaborando con diverse realtà aziendali, fondazioni culturali e
università, dedicandosi sia alla grafica che al design e affrontando
ogni singolo progetto con un approccio interdisciplinare.
Collabora con l’Università di Architettura di Venezia al corso di
storia del disegno industriale.
After a master degree in art at the “Academy of Fine Arts” at the
University of Venice, she started to work as a graphic designer in
one of the most innovative center for communications and design
in Italy.
During this period she has been involved in many projects concerning
visual communication: signage systems but also POP material such
as postacards, window banners, packaging, shopping bags as well
as textile design and product design.
From 2006 she started collaborating as a freelance designer with
various companies and brands ranging from graphics to product
design, from fashion to interior architecture always by taking an
interdisciplinary approach.
She is currently teaching design history at Venice University of
Architecture as an assistant lecturer.

Saper ideare e ripensare oggetti d’uso secondo
forme esteticamente ed ergonomicamente
valide è la prerogativa del grande design.
Con questa idea precisa in mente, Daniela
Bigon ha modellato le linee e i volumi delle
candele Concepts of Light alla ricerca di un
paesaggio luminoso nuovo ed entusiasmante,
ispirandosi tanto a oggetti antichi quanto a
forme futuribili. Una rilettura del concetto di stile,
visto sotto una nuova luce.
Knowing how to create and rethink objects in
aesthetically and ergonomically valid ways
is the perquisite of great design. With this
idea clear in mind, Daniela Bigon has shaped
the lines and volumes of the Concepts of
Light candles searching for new and exciting
bright sceneries, taking inspiration from ancient
objects as well as from shapes of the futures: a
reinterpretation of the style concept seen under
a new light.
