Curriculum Vitae
Nato a Pagno (CN) l’8 marzo 1952.
Residente a Saluzzo in Via dei Camini 25.
Laurea Medicina e Chirurgia (Torino 1977). Specializzazione Medicina del Lavoro (1980) e Igiene e
Medicina Preventiva (1988).
Epidemiologo in Regione Piemonte, dove è Direttore del Servizio di riferimento regionale di Grugliasco (TO)
dal 1994, Struttura Complessa a Direzione Universitaria dal 2003.
Professore di Igiene presso l’Università di Torino dal 2001. Vicepreside della Facoltà di Medicina e Chirurgia
del San Luigi Gonzaga di Orbassano (TO)-
Membro di commissioni consultive della Regione Piemonte, del Ministero della Sanità e dell’Istat e di azioni
concertate della UE nei principali campi di ricerca scientifica di suo interesse: l’epidemiologia delle
diseguaglianze nella salute e nell’assistenza sanitaria, le politiche di contrasto alle disuguaglianze,
l’epidemiologia occupazionale e ambientale, la programmazione sanitaria e i sistemi informativi.
Già membro dell’ Editorial Board di riviste di epidemiologia e sanità pubblica (Epidemiologia e Prevenzione,
Journal of Epidemiology and Community Health, Italian Journal of Public Health, European Journal of Public
Health). Vicepresidente e Presidente designato per il 2011-2013 dell’ Associazione Italiana di Epidemiologia.
