>> We have come to know the daily civil and social
commitment of each of these women and we have
discovered a world that is sometimes underground,
unknown and silent but which is also alive and rich
with highly motivated action and emotion.
These are the women of different nationalities and
cultural identities who are united in their passion,
courage and determination.

>> To listen to their experiences and know their
stories gives us a sense of admiration. At the same
time, their stories should be an incentive to regard the
world of injustice and abuse with a more critical eye
and with an open heart ready for action.

>> Women bring individual stories of
solidarity, commitment and faith to their ideals.
These stories are full of great suffering but also
full of great joy, for these women who have
taken joy in giving of themselves, working to
serve those who have no power and to serve
peace and freedom.
