To obtain a certificate of Judicial Records or of the prosecutions in

To obtain a certificate of Judicial Records or of the prosecutions in course, you have to:
A) send:
1. an application on plain paper, signed by the person whose certificate is requested,
containing his/her full name, date and place of birth (in forms legible, for the person
born abroad specify in block letters that is the surname and what the name) and of the
residence place or of abode in Italy (only for the certificate of the prosecutions in
course) and with the indication of the type of certificate requested, i.e. if “General",
“Civil”, “Criminal” (a General Certificate includes all civil and/or criminal entries) or of
the prosecutions in course;
2. a birth certificate on plain paper or the photocopy of an identity, valid document of the
person concerned;
3. the sum of € 19,54 (of which € 16,00 for stamp duties and € 3,54 for Clerk fees) for
each General or Civil or Penal certificate (FROM CANADA about 25,OO CAN$)
or
the sum of €.3,54 for each criminal, of the prosecutions in course or general certificate
when such certificate is not subject to stamp duties (i.e. when used for emigration for
purposes of work, or for purposes of scholarships or grants). Said sums of money must
be sent in the form of (FROM CANADA about 7,00 $CAN)
• a banker’s cheque (bank draft drawed from a bank that has a corresponding
center in Italy) headed to the Casellario Giudiziale- Procura della Repubblica di
Roma
• or
postal order headed
to the Casellario Giudiziale- Procura della
Repubblica di Roma (ONLY FROM EUROPE)
• or cash
(this payment form is heedless for the theft risk);
from Canada we can accept only CANADIAN DOLLARS
N.B.: the certificate of the prosecutions in course has to be addressed entirely to the office
of the state attorney attached to the court of Rome - Office of judicial records of the district
when she/he/it is the commune when she/he/it has resided (D.Lgs. 3/12/99,n. 491
Instution courts and revision of some districts);
B) Attach compiled envelope with the destination address, and the correspondent of the
postage for the consignment or n. 2 coupons reponse international. Or add euro 2,00
for postage stamp.
Any change will be returned in the form of postage stamps.
REQUESTS INCOMPLETE OR NOT COMPLYING WITH THE ABOVE WILL BE
REJECTED.
