The proposed architectural concept stems from
a work on a relationship between inside and outside , the
interior and exterior architecture.
The building, instead of oppose these aspects, try to put in
relationship in order to restore the subtle dialectic that we can
found in the most beautiful buildings of Morocco: simplicity and
richness , warmth and fresh , clear and golden.
The project has a very communicative nature, both in his own
volumes than in the relationship with the outside world . The
building born from a single parallelepiped; then this volume
“open” himsfelf following a diagonal line to form two prisms
that slide and rotate around the vertical circulation: the gesture
indicates the interior of the original volume. A first low prism,
which allows a large opening angle of the entrance of the
building contains the museum and the restaurant. A top prism
offset accommodate in the central core an office floor. Other
offices and social spaces are placed in the lower part of the
building. Its upper part receive the representative spaces and
create a landmark in the city, putting the project in relationship
with the neighborhood. These volumes also allow an openness

Jean-Paul Viguier et Associés, Architecture et
Urbanisme is an international architecture,
town planning and interior firm led by Jean
Paul Viguier. It has designed and delivered
projects ranging from master plans to street
furniture, including public or private offices,
housing, facilities and shops. The agency has
thus shown an ability to build in various parts
of the world. Jean-Paul Viguier et Associés,
Architecture et Urbanisme strives to bring
to its projects the best possible responses to
the relationship between buildings and their
environment. The changing size of cities and
the urbanisation of the planet are forcing architecture to consider its relationship with the
urban space, in other words to constantly bear
in mind that human urban well-being depends
on a harmonious relationship between architecture and planning. Whether in the case of
workplaces, housing, facilities or urban spaces,
the urban fabric and architecture contribute
to the sense of place.

Dialettica
architettonica
(C. Marelli)

to the different elements that make up the district : the
Mosque, the park , the square, avenue Annakhil and the
justice court.
At the ground lelvel the entire site is built according to
geometric lines that draw a garden allowing access to the
tower and to the Museum of Telecommunications, located
at the basement of the tower, into a modern volume. The
facades, modern and transparent, can be distinguished
in two types: the external ones are “high performance”
facades, very expressive with varying shades integrated
into a “skin” or double thick skin equipped with
opening on the inside. The other facades are naturally
protected from the sun by the different volumes and the
orientation of the building, which allows a simple and
modern approach.
