Note sulle lavorazioni
Sofpur (TPU)
–coloring: Sofpur® can be coloured by means
of TPU-compatible masterbatches, while PE-based
masterbatches are not recommended.
–painting: the use of special paintings for polyurethane
is highly recommended
–gluing: we recommend that the surface is thoroughly
cleaned with a tampon pre-washing using a suitable
solvent. After drying you can proceed to gluing
with a bi-component polyurethanic adhesive
Sofpur (TPU)
–colorazione: Sofpur® è colorabile con master compatibili
con TPU, mentre si sconsiglia l’uso di master a base PE
–verniciatura: si raccomanda l’uso di apposite vernici
per poliuretano
–incollaggio: si raccomanda di pulire perfettamente
la superficie con un pre-lavaggio a tampone con idoneo
solvente. Dopo l’asciugatura, si può procedere all’incollaggio
con colla poliuretanica bi-componente
Sofprene (SBS)
–gluing: a pre-halogenation treatment is recommended
–painting: for optimal results a chlorination pre-treatment
is recommended
–milling: due to finishing operations such as milling,
sand papering or brushing the surface colour might change
depending on the depth of the abrasion
Sofprene Z (SEBS)
–gluing: SEBS based compounds are not gluable
–painting: SEBS based compounds cannot be painted
MOULDING: suggested moulding temperatures are indicative.
HARDNESS, testing method: ASTM D2240, 3 sec, Shore A.
RECOMMENDED STORAGE CONDITIONS
We recommend that all of our products are storedin
a covered facility, away from moisture and heat.
If properly stored they do not require drying before processing.

Sofpur® | TPU modificato con elastomeri
Sofpur® is an innovative material based on elastomer modified Thermoplastic Polyurethane
(TPU) that combines in one single product the excellent mechanical characteristics
of Polyurethane, particularly an excellent abrasion resistance, with the processing ease
typical of Thermoplastic Elastomers. Sofpur® can actually be transformed by means of
standard injection-moulding machines used for TPR (Thermoplastic Rubber).
Il Sofpur® è un materiale innovativo a base di Poliuretano Termoplastico (TPU)
modificato con elastomeri che coniuga in un unico prodotto le ottime caratteristiche
meccaniche tipiche del Poliuretano, in particolare la bassissima abrasione,
con la facilità di trasformazione tipica degli Elastomeri Termoplastici.
Sofpur®, infatti, si stampa sulle normali macchine per TR (Thermoplastic Rubber).

– Sofpur® STANDARD presents a density ranging from 1.07 to 1.10 g/cm3
and is 10% lighter than standard TPU grades
– Sofpur® EXTRA-LIGHT has a density of 0.8 g/cm3 and is 35% lighter
than standard Sofpur® and over 40% lighter than TPU

SBS BASED
Extra light
Family of extra light compounds, with density ranging from 0.45 to 0.85 g/cm3.
Characterised by good moulding properties and excellent dimensional stability, these materials allow to reduce
the shoe weight and are ideal for bulky soles, plateau or wedges.
SERIES 18 X Ideal for wrapped wedges and plateau, guarantees excellent cold gluing
with polychloroprenic adhesives without any pre-treatment with halogenators.
SERIES 18 / 18 S / 18 SL Compounds with a porous and mat surface that allow to obtain light soles
and insoles with an excellent surface appearance. It is possible to overmould a Thermoplastic Rubber outsole
directly on the sole.
Superleggeri
Famiglia di compound espansi superleggeri, con un range di densità che va da 0,45 a 0,85 g/cm3.
Caratterizzati da facile stampaggio e ottima stabilità dimensionale, permettono di alleggerire il peso della scarpa
e sono ideali per fondi voluminosi, zeppe o plateau.
SERIE 18 X ottimale per lo stampaggio di plateau e zeppe da fasciare, poiché garantisce un ottimo incollaggio
a freddo con adesivi a base policloroprenica, senza necessità di pre-trattamento con primer alogenanti.
SERIE 18 / 18 S / 18 SLmateriali con una superficie porosa e opaca che permettono di ottenere suole e intersuole
leggere e con ottimo aspetto superficiale. È possibile sovrastampare un battistrada in TR direttamente sulla suola.

Stitch & Turn
Compound for soles that are to be stitched to the upper.
The Stitch & Turn technology enables to obtain very comfortable and flexible shoes.
SERIES 26 Z / 24 Z SEBS compound with excellent elasticity and tear resistance,
cannot be glued with any kind of adhesive.
SERIES 38 / 38 W SBS compound, good gluing with TPR adhesives.
NOTE: during finishing and gluig operations, the soles made with these compounds
must not be exposed to temperatures higher than 60 °C.

La tecnologia Stitch & Turn permette di realizzare calzature estremamente confortevoli e morbide.
SERIE 26 Z / 24 Z compound a base SEBS con ottima elasticità e resistenza alla lacerazione.
Non incolla con nessun tipo di adesivo.
SERIE 38 / 38 W compound a base SBS, buon incollaggio con adesivi per TR.
NOTA: durante le operazioni di finissaggio e incollaggio le suole realizzate con questo materiale
non devono essere trattate con temperature superiori a 60 °C.

Allow the simultaneous co-moulding of sole and upper by coupling two materials having
different hardness.
SERIES 25 Z glossy transparent surface.
SERIES 23 Z opaque surface.
Stivali PVC free
Compound a base SEBS per stivali sportivi e da tempo libero. Non contengono PVC.
Consentono lo stampaggio simultaneo di suola e tomaia, tramite l’accoppiamento di due specifici materiali
di diversa durezza.

Ski boots
Compounds based on elastomer-modified Thermoplastic Polyolefins for ski boots.
These materials are characterised by excellent lightness (density 0.89 g/cm3), good moulding properties
and good performance at low temperature.
SERIES 0D1 excellent transparency and gloss.
SERIES 0A0 opaques grades, good aesthetical appearance.
Scarponi da sci
Compound a base di Poliolefine Termoplastiche (TPO) modificate con elastomero per scarponi da sci.
Materiale caratterizzato da ottima leggerezza (densità 0.89 g/cm3), buona stampabilità e buone
performance alle basse temperature.
SERIE 0D1 ottima trasparenza e gloss.
