Whenever guests comes to stay in our home for a
period of time, however long or short, the first thing
that we do when welcoming them is to show them
where the things they will need are located and how
these should be used, for example, the location of the
bedrooms and the bathroom, how to switch on the
boiler in order to have hot water and so on.
It is in this spirit that we have designed this guide in
order to explain to foreigners staying in our city, for
however long, some of the aspects of the management
of our urban environment, in particular that regarding
the management of waste disposal. We believe that this
is also an appropriate way of welcoming them to our
city.

managed by the Comune. To arrange a suitable time for the collection call the
Freephone Service Number 800-601789.
Alternatively, the waste materials may be disposed of by bringing them to the
Waste Management Centre (Stazione Ecologica) in Via Marina, Comacchio which
is open every day from 8.30 a.m. to 12.30 p.m. and from 3.30 p.m. to 5.30 p.m.
For campsites, holiday centres etc.

located in electrical and photographic shops as well as in shopping centres where
such products are sold.

There is a free on-the-spot collection service covering the entire area managed
by the Comune. A suitable time for collection can be arranged by calling the
Freephone Service Number 800-601789. Alternatively, Alternatively, the waste

(Stazione Ecologica) in Via Marina, Comacchio.
Any waste materials which, because of their size or their hazardous nature, can
not be disposed of in the normal recycling containers or left lying in the open, may
be brought to the Waste management Centre in Via Marina, Comacchio
The Waste Management Centre (Stazione Ecologica) is located in Via Marina,
Comacchio near the municipal water treatment plant and is open on Monday,
Thursday and Saturday from 8.30 a.m. to 12.30 p.m. and from 3 p.m. to 5.30 p.m.
Per tutto il territorio servizio di raccolta gratuito presso il richiedente previo appuntamento
telefonico al numero verde 800 601789 o conferimento alla stazione ecologica
in via Marina.

È possibile conferire alla stazione ecologica di via Marina quei rifiuti che per ragioni
di dimensioni o di pericolosità non possono entrare nel cassonetto o essere dispersi
nell’ambiente.
La stazione si trova in via Marina, vicino al depuratore comunale, ed è aperta il lunedì,
il giovedì ed il sabato dalle ore 8.30 alle ore 12.30 e dalle ore 15.30 alle ore 17.30.
