Microsoft Windows
Non supporta nativamente il protocollo LEAP, pertanto é necessario installare il software di gestione specifico per ciascuna
scheda wireless. Le schede e i relativi software Intel (versioni superiori alla 7.1 – testato su Windows XP) e 3Com (testato
su Windows XP e Windows 98), per tutte le restanti versioni di Windows e schede di rete non sono stati effettuati test.
Attivare il servizio DHCP sulla scheda.
(Windows XP doesn't support LEAP protocol natively, you need to install a proprietary device software. Intel (higher 7.1 version – tested on Windows
XP) and 3com (tested on Windows XP and Windows 98) devices and software, for all other Operative Systems and devices we haven't feedback.

Linux
Non sono stati fatti testi, é riconosciuto come funzionante ma dipende dalle distribuzioni e dalla configurazione del
software installato.

Machintosh
La rete viene riconosciuta e configurata facilmente senza installare software aggiuntivo; attivare il servizio DHCP.

Nella prima tabella sono riportati i parametri di configurazione generali della rete wireless, mentre nelle tabelle successive,
sono proposti degli esempi di configurazione, rispettivamente, per le schede Intel e 3Com (le diciture indicate possono
variare con versioni dei software utilizzati).

Collegarsi con il proprio software di gestione wireless alla rete dip-open.
Aprire un browser web (Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox, etc) e collegarsi con il sito http://www.dipmat.unipg.it; sarete
inviati automaticamente ad un form di autenticazione.
Immettere login e password delle aule didattiche informatiche. Il dominio è LAB.DMI.
Dopo l'autenticazione si aprirà un pop-up che dovrà rimanere aperto per tutta la sessione.
REQUISITI
Verificare che sia attivo il servizio DHCP.
PROBLEMI CONOSCIUTI
Internet Explorer non riconosce il certificato e visualizza una schermata di errore. Accettare manualmente il certificato
(seconda opzione).
Use the wireless manager to connect the dip-open network.
Open a web browser (Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox, etc.) and connect to http://www.dipmat.unipg.it; an authentication form will appear.
Type the login and the password of the classroom. The domain is LAB.DMI.
A pop up appears after the authentication, It must not be close during the session.

Microsoft Internet Explorer don't accept the certificate and displays a dialog. Accept manually the certificate..
