La nostra settimana di cicloturismo itinerante in Romagna,
con percorsi di grande varietà dall’Adriatico fino alle montagne
che si affacciano sulla Toscana. Dopo aver pedalato dal mare
alle prime colline, ancora l’acqua - quella del fiume Savio – ci
ha affiancato, lungo una vallata verde e incontaminata fino
al Lago di Acquapartita, immerso nel cuore dell’appennino.
Qui si sono svolti altri due itinerari, panoramici e spettacolari,
con qualche salita lunga ma costante. A ogni tappa le nostre
fatiche sono state ripagate dall’eccellenza del servizio e della
qualità delle proposte gastronomiche.
A full cycling week through Romagna, and a variety of
landscapes: from the Adriatic sea up to the Apennines
overlooking Tuscany. You leave the beaches behind and cycle
up to the first hills. There starts a beautiful ride along the
Savio river that takes you up to the Acquapartita lake, in the
heart of the Apennines. Here you have the choice between
two itineraries, both with a spectacular panoramic view, with
some uphill climbs – long but steady.
At each stage, excellent food and service for a fantastic
recovery.
1 - 2. Cervia
Arrivo in hotel. Set-up delle bici e pedalata in libertà a Cervia.
Arrival at the hotel in Cervia and free ride in town.

3. Cervia (start & finish) - Bertinoro - Cesena
km 90, dslv/hm 900 m
Attraverso le campagne dell’entroterra, fra gli aromi e i colori
dei frutteti, siamo giunti a Bertinoro, cittadella medioevale
e luogo simbolo dell’ospitalità romagnola. Dalla piazza
superiore la vista si estende a tutta la riviera.
A countryside ride in the middle of fruit trees with their colors
and fragrances up to Bertinoro – a medieval fortified town
and symbol of hospitality in Romagna. The upper square
allows for a breathtaking view on the whole Riviera coast.

4. Cervia - Cesena - Acquapartita, Bagno di Romagna

TOSCANA
Anticamente descritto come “la strada principale dalla
romagna alla toscana”, questo itinerario ci ha accompagnato
dolcemente fino al cuore dell’Appennino. Nel silenzio
caratteristico delle antiche strade, siamo transitati da Sarsina,
la cittadina di origini romane che ha dato i natali a Plauto.
In ancient times, this route was known as “the main road
between Romagna and Tuscany” as it goes up into the heart
of the Apennines. In the silence typical of ancient roads away
from traffic, you reach Sarsina, the Roman town where the
playwright Plautus was born.

5 - Acquapartita (start & finish) - Passo Mandrioli Eremo di Camaldoli
km 75, dslv/hm 1800 m
Il Passo dei Mandrioli è la porta verso la Toscana e i boschi
millenari del Parco Nazionale delle Foreste Casentinesi. Nella
farmacia del celebre Eremo si possono acquistare i preparati
realizzati dai monaci.
The Mandrioli pass is the door to Tuscany and the thousand
year old woods of the Parco delle Foreste Casentinesi. At the
famous Hermitage chemist’s you can buy natural products
prepared by the monks.
6 - 7. Acquapartita (start & finish) - Balze - Monte
Fumaiolo
km 70, dslv/hm 1500 m
Itinerario circolare e panoramico, che si dispiega sui crinali fra
3 regioni, fino al bosco di faggi sul monte Fumaiolo (1268 mt).
Da questa cima, nella curiosa doppia sorgente, nasce il fiume
Tevere che bagna Roma.
A circular and panoramic ride, touching the crests of three
regions, up to the beech tree wood on Mount Fumaiolo (1268
mts). Here, with its curious double spring, rises the river Tiber
that passes through Rome.
