Biografia integrale
Nasce a Berna nel 1970. Sin da ragazzo si dedica alla fotografia occupandosi
personalmente di sviluppo e stampa. Partecipa a numerosi corsi e workshop affinando la
sua conoscenza delle tecniche e della storia della fotografia italiana e internazionale. Fra i
vari corsi: sistema zonale e stampa Fine-Art b/n con Alberto Furlani; seminario sui beni
culturali legati al territorio Sardegna con Salvatore Ligios; istant workshop con Maurizio
Galimberti; colore e creatività con Franco Fontana. Ha partecipato a numerose mostre e
proiezioni sia personali che collettive. Insegna fotografia in corsi per enti pubblici e privati.
E’ stato selezionato tra undici fotografi Italiani per Pavullo Estate Fotografica 2004. Hanno
scritto di lui: Paolo Donini, Silvia Ferrari, Michele Fuoco, Daniele Bondi, Silvano Bicocchi,
Alessandro Grandesso, Mathilde Blottière(Télérama), Istituto Culturale Italiano di Parigi.
Nel 2008 è stato selezionato per il concorso fotografico Europeo “Tempo Vuoto”.
Dal 2008, sperimenta il cinema filmando alcuni cortometraggi con il suo telefono cellulare.
Nel 2009, il suo film Notturno viene selezionato per la competizione ufficiale del Festival
Pocket Films a Parigi, mentre un suo altro cortometraggio Rimini, è proiettato accanto ai
film di: Katherin McInnis, Raphaël Maze, Alain Fleisher, nell’ambito del programma
sperimentale sullo studio del movimento.
Si presenta per l’edizione del Festival Pocket Film 2010 con un’istallazione ispirata ai suoi
cortometraggi: Pocket Horror, che mette avanti l’estetica del film horror. Partecipa a diversi
workshop sul cinema e documentario, fra i vari docenti: Pietro Albino di Pasquale, Stefano
Cattini, Marco Parollo, Tania Pedroni. Nel 2012 ha ideato Multimedia Exhibition, un
progetto curato con Paolo Donini. La mostra, concepita come macroinstallazione racconta
la nuova frontiera del linguaggio contemporaneo (pocket film o film tascabile) in cui 14
artisti internazionali interpretano il tema dell'impermanenza umana e materiale, attraverso
immagini catturate dal più comune e diffuso oggetto della tecnologia. Nello stesso anno
realizza il nuovo pocket film sperimentale dal titolo Laudomia.

2012 Ideazione e co-curatela del progetto Multimedia Exhibition la nuova frontiera del
linguaggio contemporaneo (pocket film o film tascabile) - Galleria civica di Palazzo Ducale,
Pavullo (Mo). Nello stesso anno realizza il nuovo pocket film sperimentale Laudomia che
verrà presentato con successo in vari festival e nei circuiti di settore.

Full biography
He was born in Bern in 1970. As a young man he devoted himself to photography dealing
personally developing and printing. He participated in numerous courses and workshops
honing his knowledge of the techniques and the history of Italian and international
photography. Among the various courses: zonal system and Fine-Art Print b&w with
Alberto Furlani; seminar on cultural heritage linked to the territory of Sardinia with
Salvatore Ligios; instant workshops with Maurizio Galimberti, color and creativity with
Franco Fontana. He has participated in numerous exhibitions and screenings both
personal and collective. He teaches photography courses for public and private entities.
He was selected from among eleven Italian photographers to Pavullo Summer Photo
2004. They wrote of him: Paolo Donini, Silvia Ferrari, Michele Fuoco, Daniele Bondi,
Silvano Bicocchi, Alessandro Grandesso, Mathilde Blottière (Télérama), Italian Cultural
Institute in Paris.
In 2008 he was selected for the European photographic competition “Tempo Vuoto”.
Since 2008 he has begun experimenting with short films. In 2009, his film "Notturno" was
selected for official competition of the Pocket Film Festival in Paris, while, his other short
film "Rimini", was screened alongside the films of Katherin McInnis, Raphael Maze and
Alain Fleisher, on the occasion of the experimental program on the study of movement.
It is presented for the Pocket Film Festival 2010, with an installation inspired by his short
films: Horror Pocket, which puts forward the aesthetics of horror movies. Take part in
various workshops on cinema and documentary, between the various teachers: Pietro
Albino di Pasquale, Stefano Cattini, Marco Parollo, Tania Pedroni. In 2012 he devised
Multimedia Exhibition, a project curated with Paolo Donini. The exhibition, conceived as a
macro-installation tells the new frontier of contemporary language (pocket films) in which
14 international artists interpret the theme of human impermanence and material, through
images captured by the most common and distributed object technology. That same year,
he made the new pocket experimental film Laudomia that will be presented successfully in
various festivals and circuits of sector.
