Parco invernale
Nel cosi detto „Kleineggele“ nella periferia meridionale di Sillian vicino alla sala da
bowling Jesacher e alla arena giaccio di
Sillian si trova il parco degli gnomi invernale di Sillian. Un tappeto magico di 75 m è
il sistema centrale di risalita per i visitatori.
Una giostra sugli sci, una pista per principianti, una pista per slitte e una pista per
lo snowtubing sono le attrazioni sulla neve.
I piccoli principi e le principesse della neve
potranno fare le prime esperienze sulla
neve in modo divertente, assistiti da guide
esperte. Ogni mercoledì sera si tiene presso il parco degli gnomi invernale l’amata
discoteca sulla neve con snowtubing e rafting sulla neve.

Nell‘ Alta Val Pusteria soprattutto amanti dell‘inverno trovano un vero e proprio paese delle meraviglie invernale. Natura incontaminata, ospitalità e tante possibilità per sport invernali sono i vantaggi della valle isolata nel sud-ovest dell‘Austria.

In the so-called „Kleineggele“ on the
southern outskirts of Sillian, not far from
the Eisarena Sillian ice-rink, you‘ll find the
Sillian Winter Dwarf-Land. A 75-metre long
magic carpet stands ready to ferry all winter sports fans up the hill. A ski carousel,
a practice and tobogganing slope as well
as a snowtubing run beckon to enjoy fun
and games in the snow. Little snow princesses and snow princes can playfully learn the basics of skiing here, supervised by
professional instructors. Every Wednesday
evening, the popular Snow-Happening takes place in the Winter Dwarf-Land, as well
as snow rafting and a snow disco.

VILLGRATENTAL
LA NOSTRA VILLGRATENTAL È DIVERSA
Questa valle laterale della Val Pusteria dell‘Osttirol è uno dei paesaggi naturali e culturali più originali delle Alpi, che vanta radici e tradizioni
secolari. I contemporanei stressati trovano qui la pace e il relax assoluti. La Villgratental è quindi un vero paradiso per i turisti che vogliono
sfuggire al turismo di massa.
La Villgratental si trova tra la Val Pusteria e la Defereggental in Osttirol. Essa si dirama all‘altezza del Castello di Heinfels, a est di Sillian,
dalla Val Pusteria verso nord. Dopo cinque chilometri si raggiunge il paesino di Außervillgraten, qui la Winkeltal prosegue verso nord. La
valle principale invece svolta verso ovest. Dopo altri cinque chilometri si raggiunge il comune di Innervillgraten. A due chilometri a ovest
la valle principale effettua una biforcazione e a sud-ovest si trova il piccolo paesino di Kalkstein. Verso nord, la Arntal conduce in direzione della Unterstaller Alm e poi verso la Oberstaller Alm. Le montagne a nord raggiungono quasi i 3.000 metri. Le montagne meridionali
Villgrater Berge offrono una vista nel paradiso delle Dolomiti. La Villgratental si estende per quasi 170 chilometri quadrati ed è abitata da
circa duemila persone. La valle è caratterizzata da agricoltura alpina. Una gran parte della valle è formata da alpeggi. Fino a 1.730 m vi
sono insediamenti sui pendii soleggiati, case di contadini ultramoderne si trovano più in alto delle varie malghe.

La Villgratental non ha impianti di risalita
eppure è piuttosto rinomata come paradiso per gli scialpinisti. Le valli e gli altopiani
della Villgratental sono una cornice ideale
per gli scialpinisti, che qui trovano discese
mozzafiato e percorsi difficili. Anche se il
suo “segreto” è stato da tempo scoperto
dagli esperti del settore, la regione grazie
alla sua posizione isolata ed estensione
offre molto spazio anche per gli individualisti. Il fatto che dalle località a valle, per
raggiungere le vette più alte - le montagne
più alte nella Villgratental sfiorano i 3.000
m - si debbano superare quasi 1.500 metri di dislivello, fa già una certa selezione
in queste mete per via della preparazione
fisica richiesta.
Rinfrescate i ricordi dell‘infanzia e fate una
gita in slittino con tutta la famiglia. Voi e i
vostri bambini vi divertirete un mondo cimentandovi per la prima volta in una discesa in slittino ad Außervillgraten. Le condizione sono da sogno, possiamo ben dirlo!
La pista di slittino si trova nella Winkeltal,
nelle immediate vicinanze della Gaststube
Reiterstube, ed è sempre perfettamente
preparata se le condizioni lo permettono.

Villgraten valley does not have an interconnected ski area, but is well-known as a
paradise for ski tourers. The alpine valleys
and plateaus of Villgraten valley form an
ideal picture for skiing tourists. Here you‘ll
find pure leisure slopes as well as more
challenging routes. Even if the region has
long been known to experts as a pretty
popular „insiders‘ tip“, it still offers plenty
of space even to individualists thanks to its
remoteness and expansiveness. The fact
that nearly 1,500 meters in altitude need to
be negotiated from the villages in the valley
to the highest peaks - the highest mountains in Villgraten valley reach almost 3,000
m - means that the fitness requirements
alone screen those wanting to make their
way up here.
Refresh your childhood memories and
embark on a tobogganing outing with the
whole family. You and your children will find
it hard to stop raving once you have sat
down on the toboggans in Außervillgraten.
The conditions are truly divine. The toboggan run is located in Winkeltal valley, in the
immediate vicinity of Reiterstube Inn and,
if the weather permits, always optimally
groomed. In the evening, it is floodlit until
22:00. Toboggans can be rented in Reiterstube Inn at the start of the toboggan run.
The free ski bus ensures there‘s nothing in
the way of skiing fun in the skiing centre
of Hochpustertal/Sillian by the Thurntaler,
the local mountain of Hochpustertal and
Villgratental valleys.
La navetta circola tutti i giorni da metà
dicembre a fine stagione e vi porta in pochi
minuti alla stazione a valle di Sillian. Gli orari aggiornati della navetta sono disponibili
presso la struttura ricettiva scelta o nell‘Ufficio informazioni di Innervillgraten e Außervillgraten.

to the end of the winter season, taking you
to the lower terminus in Sillian in just a few
minutes. The current ski bus schedule is
available from your landlord and at the tourist information in Innervillgraten and Ausservillgraten.
VILLGRATENTAL
OUR VILLGRATENTAL IS DIFFERENT
This tributary valley of Pustertal is among the most pristine natural and cultural landscapes in the Alps, linked to centuries old roots and traditions. Stressed contemporaries will find absolute peace and relaxation here. This makes Villgratental a true paradise for holidaymakers seeking
to escape mass tourism.
Villgratental is located between Pustertal and Defereggental in East Tirol. At Heinfels Castle, east of Sillian, it branches off from
Pustertal towards the north. After five kilometres you‘ll get to the village of Ausservillgraten, from where Winkeltal valley leads further
north. The main valley, however, faces west. After another five kilometres, you‘ll get to Innervillgraten municipality. Two kilometres to
the west, the main valley branches out and in the southwest is the small and peaceful village of Kalkstein. To the north, Arntal valley
leads to Unterstaller and then Oberstaller Alm. The mountains in the north rise up to just below 3,000 metres. The southern Villgrat
mountains offer views into the realm of the Dolomites. Villgratental valley extends across nearly 170 square kilometres and is inhabited
by around 2,000 people. The valley is characterised by alpine farming. A large part of the valley is pastureland. The sun-facing slopes
are inhabited up to 1,730 m, with the most extreme alpine farms even higher, as are several alpine pastures.

Il centro biathlon di Obertilliach si è fatto un
nome nel biathlon europeo. Atleti internazionali si allenano qui per la prossima stagione invernale. Tuttavia anche ospiti possono
allenarsi e provarsi nel biathlon. E chissà
– magari ci si trova proprio vicino al campione olympico Ole Einer Björndalen, che ha
trasferito il suo centro di vita a Obertilliach.
A causa dell’altitudine (1.450 m) e le condizioni climatiche all’inizio o metà novembre
di solito c’è già abbastanza neve naturale
per l’allenamento o le competizioni. Inverno dopo invernso vengono organizzate
numerose gare nazionali e internazionali. Il
poligono riparato dal vento è idoneo per la
coppa del mondo. Le piste di fondo della
regione attualmente sono tra le più belle
piste d’Europa.
La pista in quota da 1820m a 1950m è
una fantastica possibilità per fare lo sci di
fondo. Questa pista e proprio una pista
panoramica. Servizio navetta per la pista
in quota ogni mercoledì e sabato. Prezzo:

La prima guardia antincendio di Obertilliach, la guardia notturna, doveva esistere
già nel XIV secolo. Questa, notte dopo notte andava in giro nel paese per proteggere
dagli incendi le case costruite l‘una accanto all‘altra. La canzone che accompagnava
la guardia notturna durante il suo giro nel
paese si ascolta ancora oggi: „Loust auf ihr
Hearn und Baurn und laßt Euch sogn, der
Hammr‘ andr‘ Uhr hat 12 Uhr gschlogn.
Gebt fleißig acht auf Foir und Liacht, dass
uns Gott und unsre liabe Frau behüat. Hot
12 Uhr gschlogn“. Ogni mercoledì alle
17:30 si tiene il giro delle guardie notturne per i bambini. Iscrizioni per il passaggio

Obertilliach in East Tyrol is a meeting point
for Nordic athletes: Olympic champions,
world champions and European champions in cross-country skiing and biathlon
get ready for competitions in Obertilliach.
Meet Ole Einer Björndalen and other international stars. On the basis of the altidude
of 1.450 m and the climatic conditions it‘s
possible to run at the tracks at the biathlon
centre from November on.
The Dorfberg altitude slope is set between
1820 m and 1950 m and is a fantastic
opportunity to get into cross-country skiing. This slope may also be regarded as
a panorama slope. Transfer to the track
every Wednesday and Saturday at 09.15
o‘clock. Price: EURO 10,00. For groups
up to 8 persons is the transfer every day

The first fireman of Obertilliach, the night
guard, is thought to have been in existence
since the 14th century. He did his rounds
through the village night after night to protect the houses standing so close to each
other from fire. These days you can still
hear the night guard‘s tune when doing
his rounds through the village: „Listen up
you lordships and peasants and let me tell
you that the clock has struck 12. Be careful with fire and light, so that God and Our
Lady may protect us. The clock has struck
12.“ Every Wednesday at 17:30, children
can join the night guard‘s round.

adatto alle famiglie, con la nuova ovovia da 10 e il rinomato centro di fondo e biathlon dell‘Osttirol. Nel comprensorio sciistico per famiglie le ottime condizioni della neve e le piste preparate alla perfezione sono una vera attrattiva per scoprire il mondo delle montagne
dell‘Osttirol. Anche su molte incantevoli piste da fondo dei dintorni, in una vacanza a Kartitsch attraversando boschi invernali campi
innevati si scopre l‘inverno dal suo lato migliore.

Nestled among the Lienz Dolomites and Gailtal Alps in the north and the Carnic Alps in the south, the mountaineering villages of Kartitsch (1,350
m), Obertilliach (1,450 m) and Untertilliach (1,235 m), appointed as such by the Austrian Alpine Association, lie in Tirolean Gailtal and Lesachtal
valley in the sunny south of East Tirol. The valley is characterised by its diligent farmers, who to this very day look after this unmatched
and harmonious leisure landscape with plenty of toil and hard physical effort. Amidst the unique mountain panorama of the Dolomites
and Carnic Alps in East Tirol lies the idyllic alpine village of Obertilliach. The townscape is characterised by traditional farmhouses,
often hundreds of years old, which is why the heart of this dreamy alpine village, also called „wooden village“, is heritage-protected for
good reason. In addition to the wonderful backdrop, the village offers the family-friendly Golzentipp ski area in winter, with its new 10seat gondola lift and the established cross-country and biathlon centre East Tirol. In the family skiing area of Kartitsch, superb snow

Sugli sci d‘alpinismo si è alla ricerca di un‘autentica esperienza nella natura. Il desiderio di silenzio ci porta sulle piste fuori dai sentieri
battuti delle masse. Come consiglio da esperto vale la Valle di Villgraten, l‘unica valle del Tirolo senza impianti di risalita. L‘originaria
Valle di Villgraten è considerata il paradiso delle Alpi Meridionali per
quanto riguarda le escursioni sugli sci d‘alpinismo. Tra i territori più
affascinanti ci sono le montagne oltre i 2.000 m tra il Cornetto di
Confine (Toblacher Pfannhorn 2.663 m), la „Riepenspitze“ (2.774
m), il „Degenhorn“ (2.946 m) ed il „Regenstein“ (2.891 m). Numerose escursioni offre anche il Crinale Carnico tra Sillian e Obertilliach.

Per raggiungere il Marchkinkele restiamo nel fondovalle della Marchertal, ci teniamo sul lato destro del torrente e attraversiamo in
lieve salita i pendii settentrionali di Blankenstein e Marchkinkele. A
circa 2.000 m passiamo sul lato opposto attraversando il letto del
torrente. Superate le rovine di un fienile, dopo varie inversioni in
salita raggiungiamo di nuovo un terreno pianeggiante. Segue un
piccolo gradone che si aggira con una curva a destra. La meta è
la piccola sella in direzione sud est, dove c‘è anche il sentiero estivo che sale sulla dorsale. Al di sotto di questa sella si attraversa
un piccolo terreno prima di arrivare in cresta con poche inversioni
in salita. Attenzione in caso di pericolo di valanghe! All‘inizio, poco
a sinistra del crinale, saliamo in direzione sud ovest verso il punto
più alto. Discesa lungo il tracciato della salita.
ALPI GAILTALER - GOLZENTIPP PER LA GRIPP 2.317 M

Punto di partenza: Parcheggio alla funivia Golzentipp
Il punto di partenza è Obertilliach (1.450 m). Ampio parcheggio
presso la stazione a valle della cabinovia. All‘inizio seguiamo per
breve tempo la pista da sci in direzione della stazione a monte. Poco
al di sopra di quest‘ultima, un cartello segnaletico ci indica di svoltare
a sinistra, attraversando il tracciato della funivia, per passare su un
piccolo ponte nel bosco. Utilizziamo brevemente la strada forestale
finché un altro cartello ci obbliga a procedere verso monte in un terreno ripido. Quando c‘è poca neve o il tracciato è ghiacciato, in questo
punto è utile usare i ramponi per non sprecare inutilmente le forze. Il
tracciato procede ora in parte seguendo la segnaletica estiva, oppure
si può anche accorciare attraverso brevi radure attraverso il bosco
ripido. Incrociamo più volte la strada forestale e poi, dopo circa 1
ora - 1 ora e ½, raggiungiamo un‘antica malga situata direttamente
sul confine degli alberi. L‘ulteriore salita si snoda ora sulle dorsali più
o meno spazzate dal vento. Tramite un breve altopiano arriviamo alla
vetta del Golzentipp. In pochi tornanti si raggiunge senza difficoltà il
punto più alto (3 ore dalla valle). La discesa avviene ora in direzione
est, al di sopra del „Kutteschupfen“ (un gruppo di antiche baite), con
qualche rapida sciata fino al Stubenlift. Da qui si scia piacevolmente
in pista con una sosta per ristorarsi.

ski lifts, are considered to be an insider's tip. It is a symbol for an
entire region that follows paths different from those pursued in
the rest of Tyrol. Among the most delightful areas in Villgratental
valley are the „Upper 2,000m peaks“ between Toblacher Pfannhorn (2,663m), Riepenspitze (2,774m), Degenhorn (2,946m) and
Regenstein (2,891m). Numerous impressive tour options are also
provided by the Carnic Crest and the Gailtal Alps.

Starting point: Innervillgraten, Kalkstein
Up to the Marchkinkele we remain in the bottom of the Marchertal valley, keeping to the right of the river and cutting across the
slightly ascending north-facing slopes of the Blankenstein and
Marchkinkele. At around 2,000 m we change to the opposite side
via the Bachgraben. Passing a derelict inn after several hairpin
bends we once again come to flat terrain. There is once again a
little step in the terrain, which we circumvent in a right-hand loop.
The destination is a little col, in the south-east, where the summer
trail also climbs to the ridge. Beneath this saddle we walk through
a small base area before we reach the ridge via a few hairpin
bends. Be mindful of the risk of avalanche! To begin with ascend
slightly to the left of the ridge, in a south-westerly direction up to
the highest point. Descent along the ascent track.
GOLZENTIPP ÜBER GRIPP (2,317 M)

Starting point: Parkplatz Gondelbahn
Starting point is Obertilliach (1,450 m). There is a large car park
at the valley station for the gondola. Initially we follow the ski
piste to the mountain station for a short time. Just above here
a route signpost to the left takes us, crossing the T-bar corridor,
across a small bridge into the forest. We use the forest trail
for a bit before another route signpost takes us downhill into
steeper terrain. When there is not much snow and the tracks
are icy, crampons are advantageous here, so as not to expend
any undue energy. The ski track now proceeds in part along the
summer signposts and also truncated, via short glades through
the steep forest area. We cross the forest trail several times
and after around 1 - 1 ½ hours get to a traditional Alpine lodge
right at the treeline. The further climb keeps more or less to the
windswept ridge. Finishing via a short plateau we reach the
‘summit area’ of the Golzentipp. In a few hairpin bends we head
without difficulty to the highest point (3 hours from the valley).
The descent now follows east, above the traditional ‘Kutteschupfen’, with a few swift ‘boarding sections’, to the Stubenlift.
From there you get to enjoy the pistes and a refreshment stop.

una combinazione perfetta. L‘Alta Val Pusteria offre una vasta scelta
di piste di fondo.
Per gli appassionati dello sci di fondo ci sono 140 km di piste ai
loro piedi. Vicino alla pista lunga ca. 50 km che attraversa la Val
Pusteria e alla pista di 10 km che attraversa la Valle di Villgraten
la pista Grenzlandloipe è una delle più belle nelle Alpi. Già a novembre i migliori biathleti e fondisti del mondo si preparano per
le gare invernali. Ole Einar Björndalen, 5 volte campione olimpico
di biathlon e pluricampione del mondo norvegese, ha spostato
la sua residenza nell‘idillico villaggio di montagna Obertilliach per
sfruttare al meglio sul posto le ottime condizioni. La pista di 60
km ben preparata serpeggia in modo molto vario attraverso prati
innevati e boschi da Kartitsch passando da Obertilliach ed Untertilliach fino a Maria Luggau nella Valle Lesachtal e qui è stata
già disputata più volte la gara più popolare di fondo dell‘Austria
– il Dolomitenlauf. Un‘attrazione è il centro dello sci di fondo e
del biathlon nell‘Osttirol con possibilità di fare la doccia e servizio
cera per gli sci offerto da „Sport Auer“ a Obertilliach.

runs, deeply inhale the winter air while you are at it and suddenly get

wonderful winter sport of cross-country skiing itself. But this feeling
most likely intensified by knowing that you are in the right place at
the right time: Winter and cross-country skiing in the Hochpustertal
Valley are combinations that you could describe as perfect.
Cross-country skiing enthusiasts have 140km of slopes at their
feet. Next to about 50km of slope through Pustertal valley and
10km of Villgratental slope, the Grenzland slope numbers among
the most beautiful slopes in the Alps. In November already, the
world’s best biathletes and cross-country skiers prepare for the
competitions in the winter. Ole Einar Björndalen, 5-times biathlon
Olympic champion and multiple world champion from Norway, has
moved to the dreamy mountain village of Obertilliach to be able to
better use the ideal conditions on site. For more than 60km, the
perfectly prepared track takes a highly varied path through deeply
snowed-in meadows and forests from Kartitsch to Obertilliach and
Untertilliach all the way to Maria Luggau in Lesachtal valley and it
has been the site of Austria’s most popular public cross-country
race – the Dolomitenlauf – several times already. The highlight here
is the competitive-level cross-country skiing and biathlon centre
East Tyrol with shower facilities and waxing service from “Sport
Auer” where guests can also prove their talents.

Poco prima della stazione di Sillian si attraversa l’area ferroviaria e si passeggia nella valle proseguendo fino ad Asthof. Qui
a destra per la strada a una corsia fino ai Gschwendter Höfen
1.200 m. Dopo l‘ultimo edificio si svolta a sinistra sulla pista di
slittino, che va seguita fino a Rabland e da qui per la pista ciclabile della Drava si torna a Sillian.

Just before the train station in Sillian cross the cable car facilities
and continue hiking in the valley to Asthof. Bear right there via a
single-tracked road up to the Gschwendter Höfen at 1200 m. After the last farmstead bear left on to the toboggan run, following
this up to Rabland and from there via the Drau cycle trail back to
Sillian.

(strada di campagna e comunale) conducono alla malga Unterstalleralm e a Kalkstein.

Kalkstein.

segheria verso le montagne e poi attraverso i Tilliacher Felder si
ritorna in paese.

Start at the two bus stops in the village along ploughed roads
into Mühlboden leisure facility, and from there continue along the
Gailweg winter hiking trail (partly parallel to the cross-country ski

2016, da e per Klagenfurt, Salisburgo o Innsbruck. Siamo volentieri
a disposizione per organizzare trasferimenti fuori programma dagli
aeroporti di Venezia e Monaco di Baviera.

destination in East Tyrol for EUR 45. Reach the heavenly slopes of the
East Tyrolean Ski areas with even more convenience. This offer is
valid every Saturday, from December 19, 2015, until April 2, 2016, to

organise extracurricular transfers to the airports in Venice and Munich!
