Obiettivi formativi:
Il corso si propone di percorrere lo sviluppo artistico dalla fine dell’Ottocento fino alla seconda
metà del Novecento in parallelo con la letteratura, la storia e la filosofia, con particolare attenzione
alla lettura critica e all’interpretazione delle opere.
Objectives:
The course aims to follow the artistic development from the late nineteenth century until the second
half of the twentieth century in parallel with the literature, history and philosophy, with an emphasis
on critical reading and interpretation of the artworks.
Risultati d’apprendimento attesi:
Lo studente dovrà sviluppare capacità di analisi delle opere artistiche in rapporto alle fonti
letterarie, artistiche, audiovisive. Pertanto saranno fondamentali le letture dei Manifesti, i
documentari sugli artisti e il costante rapporto con la letteratura scientifica ed umanistica nonché
cinematografica. Il corso intende quindi offrire anche degli strumenti di lettura dell’opera d’arte dal
punto di vista iconografico, tecnico e di comparazione scientifica con i movimenti e la vita culturale
più in generale.
Expected learning results:
The student will develop skills in analysis of works of art in relation to literary, artistic, audiovisual.
Therefore it will be critical readings of Posters, documentaries on artists and constant relationship
with the scientific and humanistic literature and film. The course will then offer even the reading of
the work of art tools from the iconographic point of view, technical and scientific comparison with
the movements and the cultural life in general.
