Si chiama “quadriglia”, perché il nuovo passepartout di Roberta Scarpa è un eclettico quadrato
stampato con i 4 cavalli che il doge Enrico Dandalo fece trasportare come bottino di guerra da
Costantinopoli nel 1204.
Il monumentale complesso, collocato sulla terrazza della Basilica di San Marco nel 1254, è pixelato
sulla seta con un’innovativa tecnica aerografica e personalizzato da interventi pittorici manuali.
Da stratificare e drappeggiare sugli outfit a tutte le ore del giorno, la Quadriglia apre e chiude il
defilé.
Protagonista assoluto, il capo spalla che raccorda tradizione e innovazione. Piumini in nylon con
interventi di filato infeltrito, effetto goffrato.
Nuovi contrasti: pelle antracite e check bouclé, per i nuovi tailleur. Tessuti tridimensionali placcati
con lamine lucide imprimono una nuova luce a gonne e giacche bon ton.
Rose all’uncinetto si intarsiano nei twin set di lana.
Maniche a gondola
Lo studio di una nuova manica curva come lo scafo di una gondola, per l’iper cardigan da infilare
sul tubino di pizzo.
Nasse di lana su cui si stratificano canestri di bouclé per prodigiosi maxi pull/mini abiti da infilare
sui pantaloni stretch.
Casanova: la blusa coi fiocchi
Il fiocco come dettaglio sartoriale sulle tasche dei bolerini bon ton: sembra un’applicazione ma è un
abilissimo intarsio. Grandi fiocchi a tutto tondo, al collo delle bluse Casanova: gioielli di manualità
sostituivi delle collane.
La T- Shirt Ducale
T-shirt in jersey di lana peso- piuma con aerografie di Palazzo Ducale impreziosite da pennellate
manuali d’oro e d’ argento.
Pantaloni slim sempre stretch: in flanella, lana leggera stampata, velluti lavati e jersey lucidi.
Vetri di Murano: micro perline per lunghe collane. O come elementi di ricami soffiati
rigorosamente made in Venice.
Sulle camicie di cotone e sui lunghi abiti di seta, i cavalli annunciano il finale con la quadriglia e la
sera.
Rose tridimensionali fioriscono tra i meandri del pizzo macramè doppiato di raso stretch, in un
trionfo di femminilità.
Colori. I basici beige, grigio e blu accesso. Il nuovo nero: l’inchiostro. Incursioni brillanti: ruggine,
senape e verde bottiglia.

The name “quadriga” (four-horse carriage) has been given because Roberta Scarpa’s new passepartout is an eclectic square printed with the 4 horses that Doge Enrico Dandalo had sent from
Constantinople in 1204 as spoils of war.
The monumental set of statues, which was placed on the terrace of St. Mark’s Basilica in 1254, is
pixelated onto silk using a new spray gun technique and then touched up individually by hand.
Designed to layer and drape over the outfits throughout the day, the Quadriga opens and closes the
fashion show.
Absolutely eye-catching sums up the outerwear, which combines tradition and innovation. Nylon
padded jackets/coats include elements in felted yarn with embossed effect.
New contrasts: anthracite grey leather and bouclé check for the latest suits. Three-dimensional
fabrics plated with high gloss foils bring a new light to smart skirts and jackets.
Inset crocheted roses are to be found on wool twinsets.
Gondola sleeves
A new curved sleeve shaped like the hull of a gondola has been studied for the super cardigan to be
worn over the lace shift dress.
Wool net style weaves layered with bouclé mesh for striking maxi pull/mini dresses to be worn
over stretch pants.
Casanova: the blouse with bows
The bow as a sartorial detail on the pockets of the chic boleros: although it seems applied, it is in
fact a superb inlay. Large round bows on the neckline of the Casanova blouses: gems of handiwork
to take the place of necklaces.
The Ducal T-shirt
T-shirt in featherweight wool jersey with spray gun designs of Palazzo Ducale embellished by
brushstrokes of gold and silver done by hand.
Slim pants, always stretch, come in flannel, printed lightweight wool, washed velvets and glossy
jerseys.
Murano glass: micro beads for long necklaces or as embroidery elements, all strictly blown and
made in Venice.
The horses, on the cotton shirts and on the long silk dresses, announce the end of the show with the
quadriga and the approach of evening.
Three-dimensional roses blossom amidst the intricacies of the macramé lace lined with stretch
satin in a triumph of femininity.
Colours. Basic beige, grey and intense blue. New black: ink. Bright interspersed colours include
rust, mustard yellow and bottle green.
