.J. Karan launched his third novel titled Sensual
Attractions in Chennai, published by Delhi-based Story
Mirror. Sensual Attractions a collection of short stories packed
with suspense, passion and intrigue written by A,J.Karan was
released at Hotel Bismas,Vadapalani Chennai on 21st August
2016. The special guests for the launch were Nawaz
Currimbhoy, Majeed Abdulla, Chairman, Resource
Hunters HR Pvt Ltd and Deven , Co-founder of Story Mirror.
The author A.J.Karan's latest offering Sensual Attractions is a
total contrast and focuses on the concept of Indian Sensuality.
His stories in the book portray relationships, company politics,
friendship, love triangles and betrayal. The book has been

stories portal having 5000 writers with about fifty thousand

atrician College of Arts & Science is dedicated to providing full accessibility to all of its programs and services
for individuals with disabilities. The college inaugurated
HEPSN Scheme (HIGHER EDUCATION FOR PERSONS
(DISABLED) WITH SPECIAL NEEDS) on 12th August
2016 based on the recommendations of UGC to provide web
services which are accessible by those with disabilities. Currently there are 20 dyslexic students and 2 physically challenged persons registered in the college. The chief guest
for the inauguration was Mr.R,Venkataramanan, Founder
Trustee of Nandhini Voice of the Deprived. He spoke on the
various challenges faced by the women who are physically
challenged and encouraged the students to be the voices of
change for the differently abled. The principal of the college Dr.M.Ravichandran in his special address spoke on
the various disabilities and the need for HEPSN inside the
campus. HEPSN will be headed by Dr.Mary Angeline as the
co-ordinator and Mr.Danial Duff, II B.Sc Viscom student as
the President and a committee of student volunteers, parents
and faculty. The goals of HEPSN will be to make the college
campus accessible and friendly for the differently abled by
encouraging its colleges, faculties, and departments to provide necessary infrastructure and academic support for the
differently abled. The unit will encourage use of adaptive
software and/or hardware for Disabilities involving vision,
hearing, mobility, or other areas. It will undertake the task of
sensitizing the academic community consisting of staff and
students and the general public to the problems and strengths
of the differently abled.

A wonderful display of creativity

an initiative of Phoenix Company, a wonderful paintings by international artist, Silvia Sanchez Ortega
