Lorenzo Valdambrini aka "Surfer Joe" is truly one of the key figures in modern surf music as
well as one of the top touring artists for the genre. Participating to any world surf music event
as artist or organiser, Surfer Joe has collected an experience of thousands of concerts since
the late 90s.
Reverb, high rhythms and great energy!
It is a concert that looks back to the origins of the genre, but shows its evolution and variety,
going from the heavy Dick Dale sound to lounge and progressive atmospheres, always keeping
an eye on the melody and the quality of the arrangements.

Constantly on tour in Europe and USA, Lorenzo had the honour to play on guitar or
drums with several surf legends and he has shared the stage with many surf bands.

Touring information / requests / backline
Surfer Joe & Band line-up
3 people on the road.
Transportation
The band travels with a middle sized van (Ford). It is mandatory easy loading space next
to the venue and secure parking for the night hours.
Accommodation
We accept any kind of accommodation, from private to hotel, but it is mandatory to have
beds for the band members and possibly no need of sleeping bags.
Meals
Generally requested 1 meal per day of performance, unless differently agreed with the
promoter/organiser. No vegetarians.
Stage/backstage requests
Bottles of still water on stage. Drink tokens, if any, as usually provided by the venue to the
artists.
Backline
The band use their own backline, unless differently agreed with the local
promoter/organizer. It is mandatory to inform the band in case of backline sharing with
other artists.
P.A. amplification requested completely, if needed. There are no vocals.
