DIRECTIONS FOR A PERFECT ASSEMBLING
OF THE BARBECUE
The barbecue is an item for the outdoor use ONLY and cannot be assembled indoors. It must
be used for cooking and not for heating or burning household or garden rubbish.
Materials needed for assembling the barbecue: mortar, roll, trowel, brush, dye, scrubber,
outdoor paint nylon sheet.
1)Place a level support which must be placed perfectly horizontally so possible settlements
for the weight can be avoided with time. The use of cement slabs or concrete base is also
allowed.
2)For the assembly prepare a low-resistant mortar-mix with 20% cement and 80% sand. The
use of cement and glues with high-resistant or quick setting (ex. White cement, aluminum
cement, glue for paving-tile…) is forbidden. The above mentioned materials do not permit the
expansion of the barbecue components that cause breaking points. Assemble with a film of
mortar the different elements according to the numbers on page 2. The elements which are
by fire should be mounted with a thin layer of mortar which must be spread uniformly. The
coat must be as thin as possible so that to easy the thermal expansion of the elements which
otherwise could break. If the fireplace is formed by three pieces it is necessary to space out
the sides by inserting the grid. The refractory elements belonging to the top without any kind
of binder. Remember: the fire bricks must be leant on the top without any mortar. It is also
possible to place only two chimney flues one upon an other, in order to avoid the break of the
other elements because of an overload.
3) Once the assembly is complete, cover the external surfaces with a fluid film of low-resistant
cement mixed with fine sand. In this way, the wear will be reduced and an optimal surface will
be obtained. Paint the barbecue with a product containing plastic quartz to protect it from the
weather. Spread the paint in two phases. First of all paint it by using paint diluted in 5% water
then use paint diluted in 10% water for the second coat.
4)Once these first phases are finished, wait at least 24 hours before inserting the accessories
and using the barbecue.
5)At first lighting heat the barbecue slowly and maintain the combustible hot for 30 minutes
min.
CAUTION!!! The barbecue will become incandescent, don’t move it during use. Always light
the fire slowly and gradually so that possible water-particles and the humidity absorbed during
the night can be removed.
WARNING!!! Never use alcohol or petrol for the lighting or re-lighting. Don’t cook before combustible has become an ash layer. Keep away children and pets from the barbecue, especially
during use.
We suggest you the use of protective gloves and cooking pliers.
Before cleaning let the barbecue become cool.
Use ONLY charcoal slacks max 2 kg. each burning.
The material of the fireplaces shows characteristics of spreading to fire, with the building of
micro-cracks due to the absorption of the temperature changes. The cracks tend to close
with the cooling of the different elements not leading, however, to any defects in the product.
The barbecue should be better protected from the weather conditions with a nylon sheet or
similar. Keep fireplace and eventual ash-tray clean. Allows ash to cool before cleaning.

SCHEMA DI MONTAGGIO
ISTRUZIONI PER IL MONTAGGIO
ASSEMBLY PLAYN
Il barbecue è un prodotto da usare esclusivamente all’aperto e quindi non va montato in ambienti chiusi. Serve per la cottura di cibi e non come mezzo per riscaldare. Il barbecue non va
usato nemmeno per bruciare rifiuti di qualsiasi tipo, né domestici, né da giardino.
Materiale necessario per il montaggio: malta, rullo per bucciato, cazzuola, pennello, telo
nylon, colore quarzo per barbecue, frettazzo.
1)Predisporre una base d’appoggio che sia perfettamente orizzontale e sicura, onde evitare
che vi siano cedimenti del terreno a causa del peso del barbecue. Si consiglia l’utilizzo di
piastre in cemento o in alternativa approntare uno zoccolo in calcestruzzo.
2)Per assemblare il barbecue va preparato un impasto(malta)di sabbia e cemento a bassa
resistenza (20% cemento e 80% sabbia fine) E’ assolutamente vietato usare cementi ad alta
resistenza e presa rapida ( cemento bianco, cemento alluminoso, ecc) o collanti ad alta presa
(colla da piastrelle, ecc.), poiché non permettono la dilatazione termica degli elementi del
barbecue a contatto del calore, e quindi possono provocare la rottura degli stessi. Seguendo
la numerazione riportata nel disegno a pag 2, assemblare gli elementi fra loro con un leggero
strato di malta in modo tale da fissarli e renderli perfettamente stabili. Gli elementi che vanno
a diretto contatto con il fuoco, vanno assemblati con poca malta che andrà stesa in modo
uniforme. Lo strato dovrà essere il più sottile possibile al fine di facilitare la dilatazione termica
degli elementi. Qualora il focolare sia composto da tre elementi, distanziare i fianchi con l’inserimento della bistecchiera quindi fissarli fra loro con un leggero strato di malta. E’ consentita
la sovrapposizione di solo due elementi di canna fumaria, questo per evitare il cedimento
della cappa per eccessivo sovraccarico. Gli elementi in refrattario che compongono il piano
fuoco vanno semplicemente appoggiati senza alcun tipo di legante.
3)Terminato il montaggio si consiglia di rasare le superfici esterne degli elementi a contatto
con il barbecue con un impasto di cemento a bassa resistenza e sabbia fine, di consistenza
liquida in modo tale da stenderne uno strato sottile ma coprente. Questo avrà lo scopo di
eliminare le asperità in modo da creare una superficie omogenea, ottimale per l’applicazione
della pittura. Infine pitturare il barbecue per proteggerlo dagli agenti atmosferici, con un prodotto a base di quarzo plastico. Applicare la pittura in due fasi. Per la prima mano, si consiglia
di usare una pittura diluita del 5% di acqua che andrà applicata con il pennello. Per la seconda
mano si potrà utilizzare una pittura diluita del 10% di acqua, che potrà essere rifinita con il
rullo al fine di ottenere l’effetto “buccia”. Prima di applicare la pittura si consiglia di coprire e
proteggere le parti tinte del barbecue. E’ obbligatorio pitturare il barbecue al fine di evitare
l’azione diretta degli agenti atmosferici negli elementi, che causerebbero la rottura degli stessi
per gelività.
4)Una volta completate le operazioni precedenti attendere almeno 24 ore prima di inserire gli
accessori ed utilizzare il barbecue.
5) Alla prima accensione riscaldare lentamente il barbecue e tenere il combustibile arroventato per almeno 30 min.
ATTENZIONE!!! Questo barbecue diventerà incandescente, non muoverlo durante l’uso. Il barbecue va utilizzato sempre con molta cautela. Ogni accensione deve avvenire in modo lento
e graduale facilitando in questo modo l’eliminazione di eventuali particelle d’acqua o l’umidità
assorbita durante la notte.
PRUDENZA!!! Per l’accensione non utilizzare mai né alcool, né benzina o liquidi analoghi neanche per la ri-accensione. Non cucinare prima che il combustibile sia diventato uno strato di
brace. Per l’uso di barbecue si consiglia di utilizzare sempre guanti protettivi e pinze. Lasciar
raffreddare il barbecue prima di pulirlo.
AVVERTENZE! Tenere i bambini egli animali domestici lontano dal barbecue, specie durante il
suo utilizzo.
E’ CONSENTITO ESCLUSIVAMENTE L’USO DELLA CARBONELLA, PER UNA QUANTITA’
DI CIRCA 2 KG. PER OGNI CARICA.
Il materiale di cui è formata la zona focolare del barbecue ha caratteristiche di dilatazione al
fuoco, con formazione di micro fessure dovute all’assorbimento degli sbalzi termici. Tali fessure non costituiscono difetto del prodotto.
Per proteggere al meglio il barbecue dagli agenti atmosferici, durante il periodo invernale o di
non utilizzo, si consiglia di coprirlo con un semplice foglio di nylon o simile. Mantenere pulito il
piano fuoco.

RESPONSABILITA’ E NON VERRA’ RICONOSCIUTA ALCUNA FORMA DI GARANZIA.
