Itinerario tra i più belli al mondo sia dal punto di vista velistico
e quindi del vento (sempre presente con andature portanti e
quindi piacevoli), sia come natura e baie incontaminate.
Visiterete una varietà di isole paradisiache: St Vincent, Bequia,
le Tobago Cays, Mustique, Palm Island... Uno dei maggiori
vantaggi delle Grenadine è quello di raggruppare una miriade
di isole. La navigazione in questo paradiso è veramente unica:
il mare è calmo ed il vento è ideale rinfrescante e costante.
Viste dall’alto appaiono come una catena ininterrotta di isole ed
isolotti. Una “mezzaluna ” da Martinica sino a Grenada che
racchiude in sé tutti i paesaggi più belli dei Caraibi. Le
Grenadine rappresentano il modello perfetto dell’isola tropicale,
dalle spiagge bianche ai fitti palmeti, dalle barriere
coralline ai pesci multicolori. C’è tutto quello che ognuno sogna
di trovare nelle acque dei Caraibi.
Da Blue Lagoon a Bequia Admirality bay - 1 ora e ½
Si arriva Admirality bay, sull’isola di Bequia. Sull’isola si
conservano ancora antiche tradizioni come la costruzione
artigianale delle barche sulla spiaggia. Si possono acquistare
splendidi modellini nei negozi di Port Elisabeth. La grande
attrattiva di questa caletta, oltre all’acqua limpida è l’atmosfera
“old English” che è ancora possibile respirare. L’assenza
dell’aeroporto ha preservato questi luoghi da uno sviluppo
turistico selvaggio e anche i piccoli alberghi e bar sono in tipico
stile coloniale.
Da Bequia a Mustique Britannia Bay - 1 ora e ½
Mustique,“l’isola dei Vip”. Qui vi sono le ville di personaggi
come Paul Newman, Mick Jagger e non è impossibile incontrarli
in uno dei bar sulla spiaggia o per l’aperitivo al Basil’s bar. Nel
caso di pernottamento a Mustique suggeriamo l’aperitivo o la
cena sulla terrazza del ristorante sulla collina che sovrasta la
baia (Firefly).

advantages of Grenadine islands, is to group one myriad of
islands. Sailing through this paradise is unique: the sea is
smooth and the wind is ideal, refreshing and constant. Seen
from above, it appears like an interrupted chain of islands,
shaped as a half moon from Martinique to Grenadine
that contains all of the most beautiful places of the Caribbean.

islands, with white bays and palm groves, coralline barrier and

From Blue Lagoon to Bequia (Admirality bay) - 1,5 hours
The arrival is at Admirality bay, on the Isle of Bequia. On this
island, old traditions, such as the building of hand craft-made
boats on the beach, are still preserved. Wonderful models of
these boats can be purchased at the shops in Port Elisabeth.
In addition to clear water, the great appeal of this small creek
is the “old English” atmosphere which one can still breathe.
The absence of an airport has preserved these places from a
wild tourist development. Even its small hotels and bars are in
the typical colonial style.
From Bequia to Mustique (Britannia Bay) - 1,5 hours
Mustique, “the VIP island”. On this island there are the villas of
personalities such as Paul Newman and Mick Jagger. It is likely
to meet them in one of the bars on the beach or for an
appetizer at the Basil ’s bar. In case of an overnight stay in
Mustique, we suggest taking an appetizer or having dinner on
the terrace of the restaurant on the hill overlooking the bay.

Da Mustique Britannia Bay a Canouan - 2 ore e ½
Poche a miglia a Sud troviamo Canouan, arida selvaggia ma
molto affascinante. L’ormeggio più bello “the Pool”.
Molto bello anche l’ormeggio a Rameau Bay, ottimo posto per
passeggiate e magnifiche spiagge con vedute fantastiche.
Da Canouan al Paradiso di Tobago Cays - 1 ora
Tobago Cays, tappa successiva, è il più spettacolare
ancoraggio di questo itinerario ed uno dei luoghi più
affascinanti al mondo. Ottimo fondale, tutti sognano di
visitare questo gruppo di quattro bassi isolotti difesi da una
lunga barriera corallina a forma di ferro di cavallo
(Horseshoe).
Da “Tobago Cays ” a Mayreau-Salt Whistle Bay - ½ ora
Salt Whistle Bay, sulla costa Nord occidentale di Mayereau, è
una tappa d ’obbligo. Caletta molto ridossata ove si può fare
il bagno in una piscina naturale di corallo. Molto romantico il
ristorante che si affaccia sulla spiaggia.
Verso Petit St. Vincent - 1 ora
Passando tra Union Island e Palm Island si arriva a Petit St.
Vincent dove si può ammirare la minuscola isoletta che ospita
solo una palma ed un ombrellone di paglia. A 10 minuti di
navigazione ci sono due isolotti di sabbia: Pinese e Mopion.
Da Petit St. Vincent a Sandy Island (Carriacou) - 1 ora
Altra splendida isoletta disabitata di spiagge e palme.
Da Carriacou a Palm Island e Union Island - 1 ora
Clifton, l’indaffarato porto principale di Union Island, ha
un’atmosfera cosmopolita ed è il centro di vela delle
Grenadine meridionali. Supermercati e boutique abbondano e
potete visitare la collezione di squali nella piscina
dell’Anchorage Hotel. Il luogo ideale per un drink o un buon
pasto. Palm Island: sabbia bianca finissima, un’atmosfera
irreale, un’isola da non perdere.
From Mustique Britannia Bay to Canuan - 2,5 hours
A few nautical miles southwards, there is Canuan, a barren,
wild but very charming island. The most beautiful mooring is
“the Pool”. Rameau Bay is another beautiful place where to
moor. It’s excellent also for taking a walk and its wonderful
beaches offers fantastic views.
From Canuan to Paradiso in Tobago Cays - 1 hour
Tobago Cays is the most spectacular anchorage spot of this
itinerary and one of the most enchanting places in the world.
Everybody dreams of visiting this group of four small islands
with shallow water protected by a long horseshoe-shaped
coral reef and with an excellent sea-floor.
From “Tobago Cays” to Mayreau - 0,5 hour
Salt Whistle Bay, on the north-western coast of Mayereau, is
a must. It’s a very sheltered small creek where one can bath
in a natural coral pool. The restaurant overlooking the beach
is very romantic.
Towards Petit St. Vincent - 1 hour
Going through Union Island and Palm Island one arrives at
Petit St. Vincent, a tiny island that only has one palm-tree
and one straw sunshade parasol to be admired. At 10
minutes sailing, there are two small sandy islands: Pinese
and Mopion.
From Petit St. Vincent to Sandy Island - 1 hour
This is another wonderful tiny uninhabited island.
From Carriacou to Palm Island and Union Island-1 hour
Clifton, the busy main port of Union Island, has a
cosmopolitan atmosphere and is the sailing centre of the
Southern Grenadines. There are several supermarkets and
boutiques. One can visit the shark collection in the pool of the
Anchorage Hotel. It is the ideal place for a drink or a good
meal. Palm Island: fine white sand, an unreal atmosphere,
an island one must visit.
