GTECH OTTIENE ESTENSIONE QUADRIENNALE DA LOTTERIA TENNESSEE
ATTESI RICAVI PER CIRCA $50 MILIONI
ROMA (ITALIA) – PROVIDENCE, R. I. (USA), 4 marzo 2009 – La controllata di Lottomatica
GTech annuncia di aver firmato con la Lotteria del Tennessee un’estensione quadriennale
del contratto per la fornitura di tecnologia e servizi alla lotteria online, nonché di nuovi
prodotti self-service e relativi servizi. L’estensione, dalla quale GTech prevede di ottenere
ricavi per circa $50 milioni nell’arco di quattro anni, sarà attiva da aprile 2011. GTech è
stato fornitore di prodotti e servizi per la Lotteria del Tennessee fin dalla sua nascita nel
2004. In base ai termini previsti dal rinnovo, GTech fornirà circa 800 distributori selfservice “Instant to Go” nonché tutti i relativi servizi di assistenza. L’Azienda continuerà
inoltre ad erogare i servizi attualmente coperti, tra i quali la gestione e manutenzione del
sistema centrale e dei terminali, la formazione della rete di vendita e il supporto alle
operazioni di marketing.

LOTTOMATICA SUBSIDIARY GTECH SIGNS AMENDMENT WITH THE TENNESSEE
LOTTERY TO EXTEND ONLINE CONTRACT FOR FOUR YEARS
EXPECTED REVENUES TO GTECH OF APPROXIMATELY $50 MILLION COMMENCING
IN APRIL 2011
ROME (ITALY) – PROVIDENCE, R. I. (U.S.) – March 4th, 2009 – Lottomatica subsidiary GTECH
Corporation announced that it has signed a contract amendment with the Tennessee
Education Lottery Corporation (“Tennessee Lottery”) to continue providing online lottery
technology, as well as new self-service products and related services, for an additional four
years. GTECH expects to receive revenues of approximately $50 million over the four-year
period, commencing in April 2011.
GTECH has been the online lottery technology and
services provider to the Tennessee Lottery since its inception in 2004.
Under the amendment, GTECH will provide the Tennessee Lottery with up to 800 Instant to
Go™ instant ticket vending machines, as well as field service associated with these machines.
The Company will continue providing ongoing services including central system operation and
maintenance; terminal maintenance; retailer training; marketing support; field service;
hotline management; and telecommunications network management and maintenance.
