La gara avrà luogo venerdì 4 Novembre presso il Dar Al Hikma, Via Fiochetto, 15 - Torino.
La giuria sarà composta dai maestri Azad Kaan, Tommy King e Paula Palomares.
La gara è aperta a SOLISTE, SOLISTE AMATORIALI e GRUPPI;
Per partecipare alla gara è necessario essere iscritti all’evento “Oriental WOW” (partecipare ad almeno una lezione
o un seminario).
I partecipanti devono avere più di 18 anni.
I minorenni possono partecipare soltanto inviando una speciale richiesta alla segreteria completa dell’autorizzazione dei genitori o di chi ne fa le veci.
La gara è aperta a danzatori e danzatrici di entrambi i sessi.
La gara è a numero chiuso; tutti i moduli di iscrizione saranno accettati in ordine di arrivo (sarà considerata solo la
data di arrivo).
Il modulo di iscrizione deve essere compilato ed inviato con il brano musicale in MP3.
La quota di partecipazione alla gara deve essere pagata entro il 15 settembre 2016.
I moduli di registrazione inviati senza musica saranno considerati incompleti;
in caso di brani inviati dopo il 15 Settembre 2016, l’iscrizione sarà cancellata.
A solisti e gruppi viene richiesto di danzare coreografie in stile orientale o folklore; musica, abiti e movimenti dovranno rispettare lo stile della danza orientale.
L’utilizzo di altri stili di danza è concesso fino ad un massimo del 20% della durata dell’intera esibizione.

Per ragioni di spazio non è possibile accettare gruppi composti da più di 4 partecipanti.

ATTENZIONE
Portare un CD contenente soltanto il brano per la gara, necessario in caso di malfunzionamento della versione in MP3
Verificare l’MP3 che è stato inviato: a questo proposito il nostro staff sarà disponibile il 4 novembre dalle 17.00 alle
19.00 per controllare i brani, definire i tempi di entrata in scena e per ogni altra eventuale richiesta.

CRITERI DI GIUDIZIO
Tutte le esibizioni saranno giudicate in base ad ASPETTI ARTISTICI (interpretazione musicale, abito di scena, espressione, congruità della musica con l’esibizione) ed ASPETTI TECNICI (tecnica, coreografia, coordinazione e sincronismo per i gruppi).
Al termine della gara, la giuria proclamerà il vincitore.
Il punteggio finale non sarà reso pubblico, ma potrà essere richiesto direttamente al nostro staff.
PENALITA’
- 1 punti in caso di arrivo in ritardo (dopo 2 chiamate).
- 2 punti in case di contaminazione con altri stili superiore al 20% di tutta la coreografia
- 2 punti in caso di brani superiori a 3 minuti per ogni solista e a 3½ minuti per ogni gruppo (in questo caso l’organizzazione dovrà tagliare la musica).
A tutti i partecipanti verrà rilasciato un attestato di partecipazione.

Registrations within 15/09/2016
The competition will take place at Dar Al HIkma, Via Fiochetto, 15 - Turin on November, 4.
The jury will be composed of teachers Azad Kaan, Tommy King e Paula Palomares.
Competition is open to PROFESSIONAL SOLOISTS, AMATEUR SOLOISTS and GROUPS;
Participants should be more that 18 years old.
The competition is opened only to the participant at the event “Oriental WOW” (to join at least one lesson or one
seminar).
Minors can participate by sending a special request to our secretary with the authorization of their parents.
The competition is opened to male and female dancers.
Competition has a limited numbers of participants; all the registrations will be accepted in chronological orders of
arrival (only the date of arrival will be considered).
You have to fill and send the registration form with the performance music in MP3.
Competition entry fees have to be paid before 15th September 2016.
Registration form send without music will be considered incompleted;
in case of music sent after 15th September 2016, registration will be cancelled.
Soloists and groups are required to perform coreographies in oriental or folklore style; music, dresses and movements have to respect the oriental dance.
Fusion with other style are allowed but for less than the 20% of the performance.

For space reasons we can’t accept groups of more than 4 people.

ATTENTION
- Bring a CD at the competition with the only music of the performance, necessary just in case there will be some
problems with the MP3 music.
- Check the MP3 you sent: our staff will be available from 17.00 to 19.00 on November, the 4th for checking the
music, the entry times and for any particular requests.

JUDGING CRITERIA
All the performances will be judged by the ARTISTIC ASPECTS (musical interpretation, dress, expression) and the
TECHINCAL ASPECTS (technique, coreography, coordination, synchronism for groups).
After the competition, the jury will choose the winners.
The final score will not be published, but you can ask for it directly to our staff.
PENALTY
- 1 points in case of late arrival (after the 2 calls).
- 2 points in case of fusion with other style is more than 20% of the complete coroegraphy.
- 2 points in case of music longer than 3 minutes for soloist and 3½ minutes for groups (in this case the organization will have to cut the music)
All the participants will receive a participation certificate.
