Organising Committee
The International Regatta will be organized by the Gavirate Rowing Club and the Italian
Rowing Federation.
Venue
The International Para-rowing Regatta is held at the Gavirate Rowing Centre on the lake of
Varese.
Classification
Classifications will be held at the Gavirate Rowing Centre on Thursday 15th of May.
Athletes in order to be classified have the possibility to race at the International Regatta on
Friday 16th Saturday 17th and Sunday 18th May 2014

The teams whose athletes need to be classified have to send the FISA Medical Diagnostics
Form

the
required
supporting
documentation in English 30 days before the start of the event – April 16th, and must be sent
by email to Judy Morrison, FISA Head of Classification at [email protected] by that date for
approval.
Failure to provide the required medical documentation by the deadline may result in the
athlete not being classified and therefore not being able to compete at this event.
Please refer also at “Closing date for classification” on page 6.
INAS events: ID Athletes can race at the 3rd INAS Indoor World Championships and at the
1st INAS International regatta upon their inclusion in the INAS Master List (as active) no
later than the final entry deadline 6th May 2014

Only a limited number of loan boats are available and will be preferably given to the
overseas teams. For request, please fulfill the form “A” by 16th April 2014

Closing Date for Classification
Nominations for classification for International Para-rowing regatta should be submitted on
the attached form. In order to make sufficient preparations, we would like to receive
classification nominations by April 16th, 2014 (form B).
International Regatta entries (Para-rowing, INAS)
Entries per boats for International Para-rowing regatta should be submitted before April 16th
2014 (form A).
