Prescriptions for compressed air feeding :
At the picture below is indicated a correctly designed compressed air feeding equipment :
a. connections and valves : must have the same dimension of the pipes connected with ;
b. feed pressure : the pneumatic motor shall work at 5,5 ÷ 6,5 bar; lower pressures determine power losses, higher pressures may cause damages to the motor, anyway are
shortening his life time;
c. connections and pipes : use oil resistant pipes only; connections shall not cause
throats to the air flow;
d. air cleaning : air shall be free from impurities ( dust, condensation water, dense oil
particles etc.); always connect a filter the nearest possible to the motor; daily discharge the filter;
e. lubrifying : the OBER pneumatic motors must operate with minimal lubrication; use oils
for pneumatic circuits only; whenever possible, insert in the circuit an automatic lubrifying device; the sufficient oil fog quantity hold in the compressed air shall be 3 ÷ 5
mg / m3
