The USB2IRX USB IrDA Adapter delivers cost-effective infrared solution for file transfers between a USBenabled desktop or laptop computer and an IrDA device.
The Fast IrDA (FIR) adapter offers minimal power consumption and is backward compatible with MIR and SIR
Infrared devices, delivering data transfer speeds of up to 4Mbps (using FIR-IrDA) between an IR device and the
computer.
Applications
Create a wireless infrared connection from a portable device to a USB-enabled desktop or laptop PC for
easy data transfers
Transfer data from old handheld PC/PDAs, cell phones, digital cameras, and other IrDA capable devices
Features
USB 1.1 and IrDA 1.3 compliant (will function in a USB 2.0 port at USB 1.1 speeds)
Low power consumption; Powered directly from the USB port
Supports SIR and FIR data transfer rates from 2.4Kbps to 4Mbps
Works within a communication range of up to 1 meter (3.2 feet)
