INFRASTRUCTURE AREA
The Infrastructural area grew from the prior experience developed by the
exhibition titled INFRASTRUCTURA
•
It has been a Biennial infrastructure show since 2005
•
It is the major Italian event in its field, considering infrastructure as a
sector providing great opportunities for redesigning the territory,
dedicating special attention to the international context
•
Infrastructura is an institutional showcase for large-scale civil
engineering products within a new territorial strategy, leading-edge
design techniques, and ground-breaking technology
•
Organized in partnership with the Region of Piedmont which also
provides active support for the event, Infrastructura presents an extensive
programme of conference activities, which complement the exhibition
section with a packed schedule of meetings, conference and workshop
sessions
•
Added value: Italian and international experts compare their ideas on
technological advances as applied to the sectors of infrastructure and
mobility.
For more information on the event, take a look at www.infrastructura.it

SPECIAL AREA:
RF-ID AND TRACKING
This special area is dedicated to the CIOs of major Italian client companies with the
objective of providing a clear panorama of the way in which RFId and Auto-Id
technology can be combined with the legacy of existing systems, such as SCM, ERP
and PLM.
In comparison with other sector initiatives, this event will be hallmarked by the fact
that its sponsors and exhibitors will have the chance of contacting a target that is not
limited to the usual audience of RF-ID specialists.
The organization of sessions for industry sectors (Manufacturing, Distribution,
Logistics, Automotive, etc.) will ensure sponsoring companies the presence of a
vertically-sampled audience, the proper target for their solutions.

SPECIAL AREA:
SMART TICKETING &
PARKING
The Payment Service Directive, ratified by the EU on 5 December 2007, to be
implemented in Italy by November 2009, lays the foundations for what could be
a revolution in the sector: it will enable individuals without banking facilities to
utilize electronic payment systems.
The use of wireless technology will enable cash and paper receipts to be
replaced by quick and easy text messages or clicks on a mobile phone.
Using this system, companies will have more effective control over the
expenses made by their employees on missions, they will be able to simplify
accounting management and reduce the respective costs, while individuals will
be able to avoid having to use cash for micropayments.
Cellphone Vendors, Payment Solution and Service Providers will have the
opportunity of presenting, at ITN, their ranges of payment systems,
technological infrastructure and services available, such as, for example:
- NFC products and solutions
- Car parking payment systems
