Our outpatient team handles diagnosing and treatment of patients referred to us from a regular group of general practitioners in the area of admission. Our inpatient section receives patients for diagnosing and start of treatment from the municipality of Kolding and Vejle. The department prioritizes the interdisciplinary and cross-functional collaboration and places great emphasis on continuity. The department is rated for 21 consultant psychiatrists, who functions as attending physicians covering both Kolding and Vejle. There are two resident assistants - one in Vejle and one in Kolding, as well as a physician assistant in Kolding. Be part of the development A plan for the development of the Mental Health Services in the Region of Southern Denmark is about to be implemented and therefore you need to be ready to take an active part in the further development of the treatments the department has to offer. Your specific competencies will be included in the department’s future treatments. The Mental Health Services in the Region of Southern Denmark is working with the objective that the ambulant treatment is the main entrance to the entire mental health services in the region.
