National Gallery of Umbria – Perugia (50 mt. from the hotel)
It is placed at the third floor of the Palazzo dei Priori and it is the main Umbrian museum.
The Gallery presents marvellous paintings of Perugino, Benozzo Gozzoli, Beato Angelico and Bernardino di Betto called the

Archaeological Museum of Umbria – Perugia (300 mt. from the hotel)
Close to San Domenico's church, this building once hosted a convent and it became a museum at the end of XVIII century. It

Rocca Paolina Fortress - Perugia (30 mt. from the hotel)
This fortress was built by pope Paolo III Farnese after the "salt war" in 1540, in order both to keep the city under control and
to protect the Papal States. Antonio da Sangallo the younger built it in only three years, destroying a large part of the
medieval city where churches, towers, palaces, houses, squares and roads had been. Inside the fortress the Servizi Museali

Palazzo della Penna – Perugia (200 m from the hotel)
It is placed just outside the Etruscan walls, nearby the Rocca Paolina and the St. Ercolano's church. It was erected above a
Roman amphitheatre and its monumental front is linked with the medieval walls and the civic door, called "dei Vibi". It was
widely renewed around the XVII century, when the noble family of "della Penna" reached a strong economic and social
power.Today the Palazzo della Penna is the site of Cultural Activity of Perugia, while the Gallery hosts permanent and
temporary, very interesting exhibitions. [Hours from Wednesday to Monday 11:30-13:00 and 16:00-18:30, closed on Monday]
Nobile Collegio del Cambio (Exchange Guild) – Perugia (50 m from the hotel)
It was the ancient site of the money exchangers. It is formed by a vestibule with baroque ornaments and the audience hall
with wonderful wood decoration and a marvellous bench made by Domenico del Tasso. In the upper part of the vault there are
the frescoes by Pietro Vannucci called the “Perugino” [Hours: from Monday to Saturday 09.30-12.30 e 14.30-17.30, Sunday
and holiday 09.00-13.00]
Pozzo Etrusco (Etruscan Well) – Perugia (70 mt from the hotel)
Etruscan architectural expression of II century b.C. 35m deep and 5 m wide. [ Hours: Tuesday to Sunday: 10:30-13:30 and

Museo delle Mura e delle Porte Urbiche – Perugia (600 mt from the hotel)
It includes the biggest Medieval door in Perugia. Inside the museum there is an interesting didactic path showing the urban
development of the city. [ Hours: from Tuesday to Monday 10:30-13:30 and 14:30-17:00. closed Monday. ]
Museo Capitolare (Capitular Museum) (70 mt. from the hotel)
It is situated inside the Cathedral’s cloister and it gathers various works of 1300 and 1400. [ Hours: every day 10:00-12:30
and 16:00-18:00]
Ipogeo dei Volumni (6 km. from the hotel)
It is situated 5 kilometres far from Perugia and it represents the tomb of the Volumni, rich and noble Etruscan family. It is
composed of the entrance, the atrium and other rooms with volcanic rock ceilings. In this rooms there are seven wonderful
urns which contain the members of the family. In the lower part of the Hypogeum there are mirrors, vases, weapons and
