Sarah Jane McMahon, who has sung on opera and concert stages
throughout the U.S. and abroad, recently performed opposite Placido Domingo,
who had selected her to join the Los Angeles Opera. Among the many companies
and orchestras she has performed with are the San Francisco Symphony, Munich
Philharmonic, Washington Concert Opera and New York City Opera, where
she was a frequent guest. Her performances have also taken her as far afield
as Carnegie Hall, the Vienna Concert House and the Santo Domingo Festival
in the Dominican Republic. Her recent and upcoming engagements include
performances with Opera Grand Rapids, the Portland Symphony, Winston-Salem
Symphony, Jacksonville Symphony, Rochester Philharmonic and Cleveland Pops.

stages across the country. He has sung prominent roles with such companies
as the Syracuse Opera, Chicago Opera Theatre, Lyric Opera of Chicago, Opera
Boston and Boston Baroque, among others, and he has created roles in the
world premieres of operas including Kenessey’s Bonfire of the Vanities, Gordon’s
Rappahannock County, Mechem’s John Brown and Bolcom’s A Wedding. His
additional career highlights include several Seattle Symphony engagements, from
singing Tony in West Side Story to performing solos at a New Year’s Eve gala; he
also sang in the chorus for the Metropolitan Opera’s Grammy Award-winning
Wagner Ring cycle. Minnesota audiences have seen him in productions of Crisis

Sal Viviano has appeared with more than 120 symphony orchestras in pops
concerts at major venues worldwide. On Broadway he has been seen in The Three
Musketeers, Romance/Romance, City of Angels, Falsettos, The Life and The Full
Monty. He has also co-starred in numerous off-Broadway productions, winning
such honors as a Broadway World Award and a Backstage Award. He has been
featured in films and television programs including Legally Blonde 2 and Law
and Order. Among his 70-plus recordings is a solo CD, The Standards of Love.
He performed at the White House for Ronald Reagan, sang at the Presidential
Inaugural Concert for Bill Clinton and Al Gore, and has delivered the National
Anthem for 29 seasons for the New York Mets.
