GUARANTEE
GARANZIA
OPACMARE S.p.A. guarantees that the product has been tested
and checked in its factory. The guarantee for the product and its
accessories is valid for 12 months from the delivery date (unless
other contractually agreed conditions apply), for the private buyer
the guarantee is valid for 24 months.
The guarantee covers the free repair or replacement of components that careful inspection by the manufacturer’s technical division shows to be defective in conditions of normal use.
The guarantee is limited exclusively to defects in materials, and
will not valid if defective components have been tampered with or
dismantled by unauthorised persons. Repairs covered by guarantee will be carried out solely at OPACMARE or at dealers or authorised workshops. Is possible to extend the guarantees until 5
years by payment, previous technical check of OPACMARE S.p.A.
La OPACMARE S.p.A. garantisce che il prodotto è stato fabbricato con
materiali di prima qualità ed è stato collaudato e verificato presso la
propria fabbrica. La garanzia del prodotto e dei suoi accessori ha una
durata di mesi 12 dalla data di consegna per i cantieri (per particolari
opzioni resta comunque valido quanto stabilito in sede contrattuale);
mentre per i privati la garanzia si estende a 24 mesi. Tale garanzia si
esplica nella riparazione o sostituzione gratuita di quelle parti che, dopo
un attento esame eseguito dal Servizio Tecnico del Costruttore sono
risultate difettose in condizioni d’impiego normale. La garanzia è limitata ai soli difetti di materiali e cessa di avere effetto qualora le parti lese
del prodotto risultino manomesse o comunque smontate da personale
non autorizzato allo scopo. Gli interventi in garanzia si effettuano
esclusivamente presso la OPACMARE o i concessionari e le officine
autorizzate. il costruttore da la possibilità di estendere a pagamento la
garanzia fino a 5 anni previo controllo tecnico dell’OPACMARE S.p.A.
The following are excluded from the guarantee:
ã Cost of replacement of lubricants and transport, boarding and
lodging expenses at current OPACMARE prices for repair
operations carried out at the place of installation or directly on
board the boat, and any custom duties for products shipped
to foreign countries.
ã Taxes (VAT) and any other cost not specifically referred to in
the supply contract shall always be borne by the buyer.
ã Replacement or repair of guaranteed components will not
extend the overall guarantee period.
The buyer will qualify for cover under this guarantee only if the
conditions of guarantee indicated in the supply contract have
been fully respected. If the parties to the supply contract do not
intend to resort to arbitration, any controversies regarding the
contract or any other matter shall be referred to an ordinary civil
court, and the competent civil court shall be that of Turin, Italy.
Sono escluse dalla garanzia:
ã Le spese relative alla sostituzione dei lubrificanti, le spese di
trasporto, vitto e alloggio in base alle tariffe in vigore della
OPACMARE per interventi eseguiti presso la sede
dell’utilizzatore o direttamente sull’imbarcazione, gli eventuali
tributi doganali per i prodotti spediti all’estero.
ã Le imposte (IVA) e quant’altro non scritto nel contratto di
fornitura sono in ogni caso a carico dell’acquirente.
ã Le sostituzioni o le riparazioni dei materiali in garanzia non
prolungano in ogni caso i termini della garanzia stessa.
L’acquirente potrà far valere i suoi diritti sulla garanzia solo se avrà
rispettato le condizioni concernenti le prestazioni della garanzia, riportate nel contratto di fornitura. Qualora risultasse che le parti non intendono sottoporre a giudizio arbitrale le controversie nascenti dal contratto di fornitura o in ogni altro caso in cui sia richiesta la pronuncia da
parte di un organo del Foro ordinario, sarà territorialmente competente
solo il Foro di Torino – Italia.

Alla consegna del prodotto verificare che lo stesso non abbia subito
danni durante il trasporto.
Eventuali reclami dovranno essere presentati entro e non oltre 8 giorni
dalla consegna. L’acquirente potrà far valere i suoi diritti sulla garanzia
solo se sono state rispettate le condizioni concernenti le prestazioni di
garanzia, riportate nel contratto di fornitura.
The guarantee will also be invalidated:
ã For all parts subject to normal wear as elastic ropes and crane
ropes.
ã Any kind of tampering with the product.
ã If the product is improperly used by the user, in a way other
than that indicated in this instruction manual.
ã If damage is caused to the product by inadequate maintenance
(see 8° paragraph routine check).
ã If the product is used for purposes other than those indicated
in this instruction manual.
ã If damage caused to the product is attributable to the
conditions in which it is operated or to reasons beyond normal
operation conditions, for instance irregularities in power
supply voltage or current, or exposure of electronic
components to damp.
ã If after repairing interventions made by user, without
Opacmare’s consent or because of not original spare parts
assembling, the product has become different and the
damage has been caused by these changes.
ã If the instructions of this manual have not been respected.

ã Per tutti i componenti soggetti a normale usura ad esempio corde
elastiche e corde delle gru.
ã Per qualunque tipo di manomissione del prodotto
ã Per un utilizzo errato o diverso del prodotto (modalità non
conformi alle norme riportate nel presente manuale)
ã Nel momento in cui il danno al prodotto sia imputabile ad
insufficiente manutenzione (vedi tabella periodicità dei controlli
paragrafo 8).
ã Nel momento in cui il danno al prodotto sia imputabile alle
condizioni ambientali in cui essa opera o da fenomeni non
dipendenti dal normale funzionamento, come ad esempio
irregolarità dei valori di tensione o della corrente di
alimentazione, esposizione all’umidità della parte elettronica.
ã Nel momento in cui, in seguito ad interventi di riparazione
eseguiti dall’utilizzatore senza il consenso della OPACMARE o
a causa del montaggio di pezzi di ricambio non originali, il
prodotto abbia subito cambiamenti ed il danno sia causato da
tali cambiamenti.
ã Nel momento in cui non siano rispettate le istruzioni descritte
nel presente manuale.
NOTE:
The manufacturer declines all liability for damage, defects or malfunctions caused by improper installation of the product, carried
out without due consideration to standard installation practice and
to the instructions given in this manual.
After of the guarantee time has expired, we suggest to do
each year before the new summer season a complete check
up of our product by a customer care service point authorised
by Opacmare.

persons or things caused by failure to respect safety precautions.
All lifting, installation, maintenance and adjustment operations
and works on electrical and hydraulic systems must be carried
out by specialised and technically trained personnel and certified
by OPACMARE.
Before using the product this instruction manual has
to be carefully read, scrupulously following all instructions
given.

1) PRELIMINARY INFORMATION
1) INFORMAZIONI PRELIMINARI
The gangways is installed inside the stern of the boat, and gangway
is composed of a mobile section and a telescopic section with
manual or automatic stanchion. The structure is made of steel inox
aisi 316 and the gratings of teak wood. The gangway has been designed to perform its functions within capacity and loading limits guaranteed by its technical charateristics: fulfilling of operations of
boarding and unloading passengers.
La passerella viene installata internamente nello specchio di poppa della
barca. La passerella è costituita da una sezione mobile e da una sezione
telescopica; i candelieri sono a posizionamento manuale o automatico.
La passerella è stata progettata per svolgere funzioni nei limiti di portata e capacità consentiti dalle caratteristiche tecniche. La passerella è
utilizzata per effettuare le operazioni di imbarco e sbarco dei passeggeri
dall’imbarcazione o, se previsto, per il sollevamento nei limiti di targa.
ANY OTHER USAGE OF THE GANGWAY IS TO BE CONSIDERED FORBIDDEN.

Preliminary remarks:
Raccomandazioni:
a) La passerella, con i suoi componenti accessori, viene collaudata
in fabbrica sottoponendola ad un ciclo prestabilito di prove, al fine
di verificarne il corretto funzionamento.
b) Per una corretta installazione della passerella, OPACMARE
richiede in particolare il rispetto dei requisiti elencati di seguito.
c) Dopo la consegna verificare che la confezione contenga tutti i
componenti e che il materiale spedito sia conforme a quanto ordinato.
d) Durante l'eventuale immagazzinamento, la passerella e tutti i suoi
componenti accessori devono essere protetti da danneggiamenti, umidità, infiltrazioni e polveri. Non si accettano reclami la cui
causa sia riconducibile al mancato rispetto di questa prescrizione.
e) La struttura della zona destinata ad accogliere la passerella deve
essere sufficientemente robusta ed irrigidita per sopportare i
carichi conseguenti all'installazione della passerella ed al suo
impiego, senza causare deformazioni elastiche che possono
rendere meno sicura l'uscita della passerella stessa o causare
oscillazioni anomale in fase di sollevamento e discesa.
f) E’ necessario tener conto della possibile presenza di vibrazioni
in grado di causare nel tempo un allentamento dei fissaggi.
g) La centralina oleodinamica deve essere posizionata a bordo in
modo da garantire un adeguato e robusto fissaggio:
n
deve risultare protetta da infiltrazioni, qualora non fosse possibile
questa condizione è a cura del cliente l'obbligo di un controllo e
una manutenzione periodica per evitare possibili ossidazioni
n
deve trovarsi in ambiente sufficientemente areato per smaltire
il calore prodotto dal funzionamento in ogni condizione
n
deve essere facilmente raggiungibile per i normali controlli
n
deve consentire l’azionamento agevole della pompa a mano di
emergenza e la manovra manuale delle elettrovalvole
n
deve consentire l’accesso per le eventuali riparazioni
Le pipette di collegamento elettrico con le elettrovalvole devono
essere complete di gommino per la tenuta stagna e fissata alla
bobina con apposita vite di serraggio opportunamente serrata.
h) Il quadro elettrico fornito a corredo della passerella deve
trovarsi in posizione protetta da infiltrazioni ed umidità:

deve esser posizionato in modo che a parte i connettori stagni
ogni altro eventuale cablaggio di collegamento penetri nella
scatola dal lato inferiore
n
deve esser possibile l'apertura completa del portello del
quadro, in modo che l'accesso all'interno per controlli e
manutenzione risulti agevole
n
tutte le elettroniche sono chiuse con sigillo di garanzia, la cui
rimozione non autorizzata fa decadere la garanzia
n
la cassetta di alimentazione opzionale, con il sezionatore (con
tenente anche il fusibile principale) deve essere installato in
posizione protetta ma accessibile per i controlli

correct operation with a predetermined number of test cycles.
b) The following requisites are necessary for the correct
installation of your OPACMARE gangway.
c) When the gangway is delivered, immediately open the packing
and check that it contains all of the components listed in packing
list, and that the received items correspond to the order made.
d) If the gangway and its components are stored, they must be
protected against damage, damp and dust. No complaints
for faults due to failure in taking suitable precautions can be
accepted.
e) The structure of the area where the gangway has to be set up
must be strong and solid enough to support the loads that the
gangway and its use will exert, without causing temporary
deformations that could compromise the safe use of the gangway
or produce no regular oscillations during the lifting or the lowering.
f) The fixing system that secures the anchor plates to the boat
must be accessible for inspections. Any vibration that might
affect the stern can slacken fixing.
g) The hydraulic unit must be installed in a place where it can
be securely fixed in a suitable way.

It should be protected from water seepage; if this is not
possible it’s the clients responsibility to keep a close check
and periodical maintenance should be done in order to prevent
potential oxidation
n
it must be in a place with sufficient ventilation for dispersal of
the heat produced under all conditions of operation
n
it must be easily accessible for routine checks and topping up
of the fluid tank
n
it must allow easy operation of the manual emergency pump
and manual movement of the solenoid valves
n
it must be accessible for any repair that might be needed.

The standard installation that is foreseen in the catalogue is relating to boats with vertical and straight
stern. Every other configuration must be agreed with our
technical department.

Remove the connection pivot of the lifting cylinder (A and B).
Drill holes for fixings on the stern of yacht, using as template
the same fixing plate C and D supplied with the gangway.
Fix the two anchor plates to the stern with 8 mm AISI 316
stainless screws and seal around the edges with silicon filler.
Insert the hydraulic pipes into the holes that you have previously
realized.
Connect the gangway on plate C using the pin E.
Reconnect the cylinder to the gangway by replacing the
connecting pivot E.
Screw the ogive nipples of the flow regulator valve to the
hydraulic pipes. Tighten the swivel joints with the flow
regulator valve in the desired direction.
Make the hydraulic connections to the hydraulic unit and the
electric connections of the solenoid valve and of the panel
control to the electronic box.
Connect the electronic unit to the battery of the boat with the
supplied electric cable or eventually with another extension
cable.
Feed the electric motor with cable of suitable section by a fuse
(material non standard supplied by Opacmare), checking the
correct tension. (See pag. 8).
Check that the tank of the hydraulic unit is correctly filled with
fluid, and connect electrical power. Flush the lifting cylinder
making 3 or 4 operation cycle.
Top up the tank of the hydraulic unit if necessary.
Check that the hydraulic circuits have no leaks.

Sfilare i perni di collegamento del pistone di sollevamento
(rif.A e B).
Praticare i fori di fissaggio sulla poppa dell'imbarcazione,
utilizzando come dima di foratura le stesse piastre di
ancoraggio C e D fornite con la passerella.
Fissare alla poppa le due piastre di ancoraggio mediante viti
inox AISI 316 da M8 sigillandone il perimetro con silicone,
infilando i tubi idraulici nei fori precedentemente realizzati.
Collegare la passerella sulla piastra C usando il perno E.
Ricollegare il pistone alla passerella, rimontando i perni di
collegamento.
Avvitare i raccordi ad ogiva del gruppo valvola-regolatori di
flusso ai tubi dell'olio, quindi serrare i raccordi ad occhio
girevoli orientando il gruppo valvola nella posizione voluta.
Effettuare i collegamenti idraulici alla centralina idraulica e
quelli elettrici delle elettrovalvole e della pulsantiera con il box
elettronico.
Alimentare l'elettronica alla batteria dell'imbarcazione con il
cavo elettrico in dotazione ed eventualmente prolunghe
aggiuntive.
Alimentare il motore elettrico con cavi di sezione appropriata
attraverso un fusibile (materiale non fornito standard
dall'OPACMARE), controllando la corretta tensione.
(Vedi tabella pagina 8).
Controllare il riempimento del serbatoio olio della centralina,
alimentare il sistema elettrico ed effettuare lo spurgo del
pistone compiendo 3 o 4 cicli di manovra. Se necessario,
rabboccare il serbatoio della centralina.
Verificare l'assenza di perdite d'olio.

On gangways models.5995 and 8998 the raising piston is fixed to
a crosspiece that can be moved to a variety of position.
This solution permits greater versatility of the gangway when
installed on transoms that are not vertical.

Make the hydraulic connections to the hydraulic unit and the
electric connections of the solenoid valves and the digital
panel to the electronic box.
Power the electronic to the battery of the boat with the
supplied electric cable or eventually with another extension cable.
Power the electric motor with cable with suitable section by a
fuse (material non supplied standard by Opacmare), checking
the correct tension. (See pag. 8).
Lift up the pantograph of the gangway pushing the button on
the digital panel.
Lift up the gangway, at least in two persons, and insert the
gangway in the assigned compartment.
Make the fixing holes on the resine and if it is necessary insert
some thickness between the plates of fixing and the resine on
the boat.
Fix to the compartment the anchor plates with AISI 316
stainless screws M10 and seal around the edges with silicone
filler.
Carry out the fixing as indicated in the picture.
Check that the tank of the hydraulic unit is correctly filled with
fluid, and connected to electrical power. Flush the lifting
cylinder making 3 or 4 operation cycles.
Top up the tank of the hydraulic unit if necessary.
Check that the hydraulic circuits have no leaks.
After you have fixed the gangway, during the moving check
phase; check that the flexible hydraulic pipes, that are
located in the lower part of the gangway, are not crushed
during the closing phase.

Effettuare i collegamenti idraulici alla centralina idraulica e
quelli elettrici delle elettrovalvole e della pulsantiera con il box
elettronico.
Alimentare l’elettronica alla batteria dell’imbarcazione con il
cavo elettrico in dotazione ed eventualmente prolunghe
aggiuntive.
Alimentare il motore elettrico con cavi di sezione appropriata
attraverso un fusibile (materiale non fornito standard
dall’OPACMARE), controllando la corretta tensione.
(Vedi tabella pagina 8).
Sollevare il pantografo della passerella premendo il tasto sulla
pulsantiera.
Sollevare la passerella, almeno in due persone, e inserirla nel
vano stabilito.
Praticare i fori di fissaggio sulla resina e se necessario inserire
degli spessori tra le piastre di fissaggio e la resina dell’imbarcazione
Fissare al vano le piastre di ancoraggio mediante viti inox AISI
316 M10 sigillandone il perimetro con silicone.
Effettuare i fissaggi come indicato in figura 7.
Controllare il riempimento del serbatoio olio della centralina ed
effettuare lo spurgo del pistone di sollevamento compiendo 3
o 4 cicli completi.

To extract the telescopic element it is necessary operate on the
block that is located on the side of the gangway so it is possible
extend the telescopic element. It is necessary that the telescopic
element goes to end stroke and, afterwards, lock the position
operating on the block.
Remember, when you want put away and so close the gangway,
to unhook the block e sliding the telescopic element.
When you have extract the telescopic element, it is possible insert
the stanchions (OPTIONAL supplying).
Per poter estrarre l’elemento telescopico è necessario agire sull’otturatore posto sul lato della passerella così da permettere lo
sfilo; far andare l’elemento estraibile sino a fine corsa e, successivamente, fermare la posizione agendo sempre sull’otturatore.
Ricordarsi, nel momento in cui si vuole riporre e quindi richiudere
la passerella, di sganciare l’otturatore e far scorrere l’elemento
estraibile.
Una volta estratto l’elemento telescopico è possibile inserire i candelieri (la fornitura dei candelieri è OPTIONAL)
For models with manual positioning of stanchions, insert these
into the sockets provided. Check that they are correctly secured.
Before moving off on models with manual stanchion positioning,
the grab rope and the stanchions must be dismantled and stowed
away.
Per i modelli con candelieri manuali inserite questi ultimi negli
appositi alloggiamenti, controllandone il fissaggio e verificate la
solidità dell’appiglio.
Prima di partire per la navigazione per i modelli con candelieri
manuali è necessario sganciare la cima tientibene smontare i candelieri e la passerella e riporli.

The hydraulic module is designed for discontinuous use, and must
not be operated continuously for more than 4 minutes at a time,
otherwise the electric motor may be subject to overheating. The
electric motor has a thermal switch that breaks off motor’s power
when the motor is overheated. The time available to carry out all
manoeuvres repeatedly is nevertheless amply even in case of
exceptional circumstances.
The hydraulic pump driven by the electric motor is located inside
the hydraulic fluid tank. The power of the electric motor installed
on the hydraulic module is 2.2-1.6 kW; for the development of all
functions on the gangways is mounted 2 or 3 solenoid valves
(only for mod.3800).
La centralina oleodinamica è costruita per un utilizzo discontinuo
e non deve restare in funzione per più di 4 minuti consecutivi, altrimenti si corre il rischio di surriscaldare il motore elettrico; inoltre il
motore elettrico è dotato di un interruttore termico che interrompe l’alimentazione del motore quando questo si surriscalda. Il
tempo a disposizione per compiere ripetutamente tutte le manovre è comunque abbondantemente sufficiente anche in caso di
regolazioni in condizioni particolari.
La pompa idraulica è posta all’interno del serbatoio dell’olio; la
potenza del motore elettrico installato sulle centraline oleodinamiche è di 2.2-1.6 kW, per lo svolgimento di tutte le funzioni sulle
passerelle sono montate da 2 a 3 elettrovalvole, (solo per la 3800).

In case of malfunctions of the electrical or electronic systems of
the gangway, the device can be operated manually. The hydraulic
unit is equipped with a manual emergency pump and the solenoid
valves can be opened and closed by hand.
To pressurize the hydraulic fluid, operate the lever of the manual
pump with one hand (picture 15-16) and with the other hand press
the solenoid valve’s opening cap, as shown in the diagram, by
using a tool (ex: screwdriver) and take care that the tool does not
damage the solenoid valve (round tip of a tool Ø max 3 mm); the
valve will opened, so that when the manual pump is operated,
pressurized hydraulic fluid will be sent to the desired cylinder (the
lever must be moved several times to eliminate air and pressurize
the system). In this case, the gangway movement will be slower,
but will anyway be operative.
In caso di avaria ai sistemi elettrici o elettronici della passerella, è
possibile manovrare manualmente la centralina oleodinamica che
è dotata di una pompa manuale di emergenza; le elettrovalvole
possono essere aperte manualmente.
Per portare l’olio in pressione agire con una mano sulla leva di
comando della pompa manuale (Fig. 15-16) e con l’altra mano
mantenere premuto il puntalino di apertura manuale dell’elettrovalvola come illustrato nella figura utilizzando un utensile appropriato, che non righi la sede del cilindretto (Punta arrotondata Ø
max 3 mm), così facendo si aprirà la valvola, e pompando con la
pompa manuale si invierà l’olio in pressione al pistone desiderato
(azionare più volte la leva per eliminare l’aria e metter in pressione
l’impianto).
La manovra sarà in questo modo più lenta ma comunque efficace.

part (number of units depends on number of controls and software), a cable set for connection of all components, a push-button panel and, if necessary, a box for connection of inductive

Before control setting make sure push-button panel is off, it can
be switched off by pressing off button. Make sure bottom led-light
(relevant to lights) is off too.
Prima di iniziare la programmazione assicurarsi che la pulsantiera
sia spenta, la pulsantiera si spegne pigiando il tasto off. Verificare
che sia spento anche il led luci.
Press off button and button 1 together (up button, central position
with arrow positioned upwards) for a few seconds, led-light 2 on
push-button panel (on bottom left-hand side) shall start flashing.
Premere contemporaneamente i tasti off e il tasto 1 (tasto up,
posizione centrale con la freccia rivolta verso l’alto) per qualche
secondo, il led 2 (sul lato sinistro in basso) della pulsantiera inizierà a lampeggiare.
As push-button panel flashes, press one button on the remote
control (no matter which one) until flashing frequency changes.
When setting is over, led-light on push-button panel shall flash
with a different frequency, alternating some flashes and than switching off.
Such condition assures setting is done.
Durante la fase di lampeggio della pulsantiera pigiare un tasto
qualsiasi del telecomando fino a quando non cambia la frequenza
del lampeggio. A programmazione avvenuta il led della pulsantiera lampeggerà con una frequenza diversa alternando alcuni lampeggi fino a spegnersi.
Tale condizione garantisce l’avvenuta programmazione.
Repeat same operation to set other remote controls.
Ripetere la stessa operazione per programmare altri telecomandi.

If you want to cancel remote control setting you have to proceed
as follows:
Qualora si voglia annullare la programmazione dei telecomandi

Make sure push-button panel is off, it can be switched off by pressing off button. Make sure bottom led-light (relevant to lights) is off
too.
Assicurarsi che la pulsantiera sia spenta, la pulsantiera si spegne
pigiando il tasto off. Verificare che sia spento anche il led luci.
Press off button and button 2 together (down button, central position with arrow positioned downwards) for a few seconds, ledlight 2 on push-button panel (on bottom left-hand side) shall start
flashing.
At the end of such operation, when led-light will have stopped flashing, electronic unit will not recognize any remote control any
longer.

In order to replace remote control battery it is necessary to open
it by unscrewing the screw placed on the back bottom. Remove
the electronic card from the box and slip the battery downwards
to avoid damages to the electronic card.Battery positive pole
must been in full view while negative pole must be in contact with

be used for silicone. Once push-button panel has been fixed,
cover its external profile with the press-fitting cover supplied.

Check that they are correctly secured.

6) LIFTING AND LAUCHING THE TENDER

ã Lifting the tender

The tender should be fitted with lifting ropes of a suitable length,
preferably in stainless steel cable, with shackles for attaching to
the tender and safety hooks at the other end.
n The tender must be brought under the stern, beneath the
extended gangway. Attach the lifting cables to the lugs on the
front of gangway.
n Give power to the gangway, extend it and lower it slightly until
the lifting cables can be hooked up.
n Before starting, always remember to check that lifting ropes
are in good condition and that shackles and hooks open and
close correctly.
n Fix two mooring ropes to the bows and stern of the tender.
n Get out of the tender and hold it in position with the mooring
ropes.
n The gangway can now be raised, acting as a davit.
When the gangway is lifted above the horizontal, assist this
movement by retracting the gangway.
n Secure the tender and the mooring ropes.
When sailing in bad weather the tender should be secured
more firmly with safety straps.
If the shape of the stern permits, the gangway can be lowered
to postion the tender on the afterdeck (if this strong enough
and is equipped with suitable accessories), reducing the load
supported by the gangway.
Per effettuare l’alaggio del tender è necessario dotare il tender di
rizze di sollevamento di lunghezza calibrata, il cavo dovrà essere il
acciaio inox piombato alla lunghezza corretta, con maniglioni di
collegamento al tender e con ganci di sicurezza all’altra estremità
delle rizze.
n Il tender deve esser posizionato a poppa, sotto la passerella
estesa, e le rizze di sollevamento devono essere collegate agli
occhielli presenti sulla parte frontale della passerella
n Alimentare la passerella, estenderla, ed abbassarla quel tanto
che basta ad agganciare le rizze di sollevamento
n Controllate ogni volta il buono stato delle rizze e la corretta
chiusura di maniglioni e ganci.
n Collegate alla prua ed alla poppa del tender due cime di
ormeggio.
n Sbarcate dal tender e mantenete il tender in posizione con le
cime.
n Successivamente la passerella può esser sollevata, agendo
così da gruetta. Continuando a sollevare la passerella
oltre il livello orizzontale, sarà possibile far rientrare l’elemento
telescopico della passerella
n Fissate il tutto con le cime di ormeggio. In caso di navigazione
con maltempo è opportuno assicurare ulteriormente il tender
con delle fasce di sicurezza. Se la conformazione della poppa
lo consente, potete abbassare la passerella poggiando il
tender sulla plancetta di poppa (se la struttura è in grado di
reggerlo ed è attrezzata allo scopo), in modo da scaricare la
passerella di parte del peso addizionale.

the water. Lower the gangway a little further so that the lifting
cables are slack
Detach the cables from the lifting lugs on the front of gangway
and raising it, holding the tender in place with the mooring
ropes.
You can now board the tender.
Remenber that the gangway is still above the tender, and
that you should take particular care to avoid bumping your
head against it!

The materials used in the construction of the gangway ensure that
only a minimum amount of cleaning and maintenance will be
required.
I materiali con cui è costruita la passerella consentono di ridurre al
minimo la necessità di piccoli interventi di pulizia e manutenzione.
To keep your gangway in the best possible condition, it is advisable to hose it down with abundant freshwater every time you
return to harbor and to dry it with a soft chamois cloth, having particular attention for parts in stainless steel.

lf left drying without being wiped down, even the best grades
of stainless steel can be subject to surface corrosion.
lf there are traces of corrosion or lack of shine on the metal
surface that cannot be removed by washing, use a polish
formulated specifically for metals, taking care not to stain the
wood.
Never use wire wool pads or other cleaning materials that
could scratch the stainless steel surface. This would inevitably
make it more prone to corrosion.
The stem is the part of the boat that is most exposed to engine
exhaust fumes, and acidic and greasy deposits will also be
formed on the gangway. You should periodically wash them off
with a neutral biodegradable detergent.
The frequency with which this operation should be carried out
will depend on how dirty your exhaust fumes are, so it is not
possible to say how often this will be necessary. You must
therefore assess the situation for yourself.
A couple of times every season and before putting your boat
into storage, it is advisable to treat the teak of the gangway
with a suitable product, such as 'Tea k Wonder'. The wooden
part of the gangway is particularly prone to damage caused by
engine exhaust fumes.
The extending section guides and the hinges must be cleaned
and lubricated with a suitable spray product at least once a
month.
At least once per year the plank teaks have to be protected by
a suitable paint, in order to avoid water infiltrations and
swelling of the stratified wood which underlies. Eventual teak’s
swellings won’t generate warranty issues.

Per la migliore conservazione della passerella, Vi raccomandiamo
di sciacquarla con abbondante acqua dolce al rientro da ogni navigazione, ed asciugarla poi con la pelle di daino (soprattutto le
parti in acciaio inox).
n Se si lascia il metallo ad asciugare spontaneamente, anche il
migliore acciaio inox tenderà a macchiarsi.
n In caso di tracce di ossidazione o opacizzazione resistente al
lavaggio, potrete usare un polish specifico per metalli
(attenzione a non macchiare il legno).
n Non usate mai pagliette metalliche o altri sistemi di pulizia in
grado di intaccare la superficie dell'acciaio, poiché
inevitabilmente la superficie diventerà facile preda
dell'ossidazione.
n La parte poppiera della barca è più esposta ai fumi di scarico
di motori, e quindi anche la passerella deve sopportare i
depositi acidi ed untuosi dei fumi di scarico: é necessario pe
ciò provvedere periodicamente al lavaggio con un detergente
neutro e biodegradabile.
n La periodicità di tale intervento dipende dai residui incombusti
emessi dai Vostri motori, e non è pertanto indicabile
univocamente: dovrete verificare la Vostra condizione
specifica.
n Un paio di volte a stagione, e prima dei rimessaggio invernale,
Vi suggeriamo di trattare il teak della passerella con un ciclo
protettivo completo (per es.: Teak Worider): la parte in legno
della passerella è infatti particolarmente esposta all'effetto dei
fumi di scarico dei motori.
n Le guide di scorrimento dei settore telescopico e le cerniere
devono essere pulite e lubrificare con apposito spray almeno
una volta al mese.
n Almeno una volta all’anno proteggere con apposita vernice i
carabottini a doghe onde evitare infiltrazioni d’acqua e rigonfiamenti
del legno multistrato sottostante. L’eventuale rigonfiamento non
prevede la sostituzione in garanzia del carabottino.

ã Replacing The Teak Planking (es.gangway with 3 elements)
a) Extend completely the gangway
b) Dismount the plate of the fibre optics cables chain in the
inferior part of the last section (the third element) (only where
are present the optics fibres)
c) Unscrew the screws of the teak n. 1.
If it is necessary, disconnect the extending cylinder “A” and
with the help of one wooden thickness, let take out the other
10 cm. of the extending part “B” to facilitate the dismounting
of the teak planking N1.
Before taking out the teak planking, disconnect the optic fibre
“C” (if it is present) using a screwdriver (as shown in the
photo, do not pull the electrical wire)
d) Dismount the teak plankings N2 first and N3 after, paying
attention in disconnecting the leds “D” and “E” (if are present
in the supplying).
