With the PADI instructor always on board, you will be able to achieve any diving certifications (may be issued courses for all
levels up to Divemaster); on request, will be offered the “baptism of the sea” for all going to experience diving for the first
time in their lifetime.

the shipyards of Damietta in 1998, it was
completely renovated in 2012. The renovation,

Discovering Gubal
Departure from Sharm to spend a
couple of days around the island of
Tiran where we will explore the
stunning reef sites surrounding the
island (Gordon, Thomas, Woodhouse
and Jackson); in this area we can
choose to join challenging dives
suitable for more experienced divers
(like Jackson "outside", looking for
the hammerhead sharks or ThomasWoodhouse, where encountering
with pelagic schools of fish is not a
dream), otherwise we can enjoy
more relaxing but extremely exciting
and colorful dives. We will rest for
the night nearby the breathtaking
lagoons around the beaches of the
island where we can enjoy a
fantastic fresh fish Bedouin dinner
(without paying any extra charge).
We will sail from Sharm el Sheikh
towards the Strait of Gubal unto
Sha'ab Abu Nuhas reef in whose
waters lie plenty of wrecks: the
Carnatic, the Ghiannis, the Chrisoula
K and the remains of the Kimon M.;
closely enough we can also dive on
the Rosalie Moeller, twin wreck of
the Thistlegorm.
The area of the Strait of Gubal,
especially on the Sinai side, is full of
reefs and lagoons still unknown
offering to divers a wide chance of
stunning dives.
Leaving from Tiran, in case of
sighting (it depends on the season),
we can attempt a "local" dive around
Ras Nasrani to go looking for a whale
shark encounter, leading then to Ras
Mohamed Marine Park where you
can experience any kind of
encounters (white and black tip
sharks, reef and plumbeus sharks,
manta rays and huge schools of
barracudas, jackfish, platax and
snappers) through dives for all levels
of difficulty, but all totally
unforgettable (Shark's & Jolanda
reef, Jackfish Alley, Anemon City,
Backside mangrove, etc...).
In this area you can also enjoy many
dives, discovering the drop off
around the Island of Gubal Seghir, on
the Sha'ab Umm reef and so on.
Dolphin encounters are very common
in these waters.
At the end of the tour, we will move
to the area of the Strait of Gubal
(Sinai side) to enjoy diving once
again on the Thistlegorm, otherwise
on the wreck of Dunraven or in the
area of Ras Mohammed Marine Park.

repetitive dives on the famous

Gubal e Relitti
Discovery Gubal
Partiremo da Sharm per trascorrere
un paio di giorni nell'area dell'Isola di
Tiran dove ci immergeremo fra i
bellissimi reef che la lambiscono
(Gordon, Thomas, Woodhouse e
Jackson). Tali "spot" permettono un
connubio fra immersioni impegnative
adatte ai subacquei più esperti, come
Jackson "esterna" alla ricerca di
squali martello (quest'anno si sono
visti con una buona frequenza) o il
taglio Thomas-Woodhouse che
regala spesso l'incontro con pelagici,
etc.., ed immersioni meno
impegnative ma assolutamente belle,
coinvolgenti e colorate. Pernotteremo
in assoluto relax nelle meravigliose
lagune dell'isola ed inoltre saremo
lieti di organizzare una cena beduina
a base di pesce fresco su una delle
spiagge circostanti (senza
sovrapprezzo alcuno).
Lasciata l'area di Tiran, se ancora
avvistato in zona (quest'anno erano
quasi stanziali per quante volte sono
stati avvistati) si può tentare una
immersione "local" nei pressi di Ras
Nasrani per cercare lo squalo balena,
quindi ci dirigeremo verso il Parco
Marino di Ras Mohammed che offre
immersioni di ogni grado di difficoltà
ma tutte assolutamente
indimenticabili (Shark's & Jolanda
reef, Jackfish Alley, Anemon City,
Backside Mangrove, etc..) dove ogni
tipo di incontro è possibile (squali
pinna bianca, grigi, plumbei, mante
oltre ad enormi branchi di barracuda,
platax, carangidi e azzannatori).
Dopo Ras Mohammed ci dirigeremo
verso l'area del Thistlegorm dove,
oltre a una o più immersioni sul
famoso relitto, sarà possibile visitare
e pernottare in magnifiche lagune ed
immergersi in numerose aree, alcune
poco conosciute ma molto belle,
dove è possibile scegliere fra
immersioni su drop-off, fondi
sabbiosi con affioramenti madreporici
o lagune dove incontrare, con un po'
di fortuna, mante e delfini.
Tutti i giorni sarà comunque possibile
praticare snorkeling, fare piccole
escursioni in gommone e
naturalmente godersi in relax il sole
e gli splendidi paesaggi nei quali
saremo immersi.
Si partirà da Sharm el Sheikh in
direzione dello stretto di Gubal verso
il reef di sha'ab Abu Nuhas nei cui
fondali giacciono i relitti del Carnatic,
del Ghiannis, del Chrisoula K. e i resti
del Kimon M. e, a poca distanza,
anche il bellissimo relitto del Rosalie
Moeller, nave sorella del Thistlegorm.
In quest'area oltre alle innumerevoli
immersioni sui relitti si potranno
effettuare anche diverse immersioni
lungo le pareti dell'isola di Gubal
Seghir, nel reef di Sha'ab Umm Usk e
altri.
In questa zona è inoltre comune
imbattersi in fitti banchi di delfini con
i quali poter fare il bagno.
Per concludere la crociera ci
muoveremo verso l'area dello stretto
di Gubal versante Sinai, per
immergersi sul Thistlegorm, sul
Dunraven e/o nel parco marino di
Ras Mohammed.
Lo stretto di Gubal offre numerosi
reef e lagune che, soprattutto nel
versante del Sinai, sono poco
conosciuti e poco frequentati dai
subacquei, certo non perché inferiori
riguardo alla bellezza dei paesaggi e
alla ricchezza e varietà delle
immersioni che si possono effettuare.
Infatti, uscire fuori dalle rotte più
note e più frequentate della costa di
Sharm e di Hurgada vuole dire
navigare in solitudine verso posti
ameni, godersi i colori delle lagune
che contrastano con il deserto e le
lingue di sabbia che le circondano e,
perché no, poter fare incontri
emozionanti con pesci e mammiferi
che come noi si rifugiano qui
infastiditi dall'eccessiva mondanità di
Sharm.

Le zone di immersione sono
numerose e i loro nomi, non essendo
inseriti nella lista ufficiale dei "diving
site" mantengono l'originale nome
attribuito dalla popolazione locale dei
beduini con la relativa difficoltà di
traduzione (El Dahara, El Boom,
Shaab Ali…).
A seconda della tipologia del
substrato e dei reef, alcune zone
sono ottime per vedere filtratori
come mante, squali balena e grandi
pastinache, altre per cercare
cavallucci marini, gobidi o pesci
Godetevi momenti di assoluto relax alla scoperta dei luoghi più belli e
sconosciuti di Sharm el Sheikh..
...immersioni, snorkeling e sole in piena libertà!...
Si programmano crociere ogni settimana durante tutto l’anno ad
eccezione del mese di Febbraio.
E’ possibile organizzare viaggi di 1 o 2 settimane o, su richiesta, anche
“mini-safari” di 2/3gg.
