Nelle foreste della Siberia gli uomini devono difendersi dall’attacco delle tigri: la situazione è talmente
grave che le autorità devono rivolgersi a Yuri Trush, specializzato nel catturare ed eliminare le tigri che
hanno perduto la naturale paura dell’uomo. Le “tigri mangia uomini” sono le protagoniste di questo di
questo docu-thriller, che combina riprese ricostruite e materiale d’archivio realizzato dallo stesso Yuri.
Un confronto epico ed estremo nel rapporto tra uomini e animali.
Men have to defend themselves from attacks by tigers in the siberian forests; the situation is so serious
that the authorities must call for the help of Yuri Trush, who is an expert in catching and killing the tigers
that have lost their natural fear of man. ‘Man-eater tigers’ are the protagonists of this docu-thriller, which
is a combination of set-up shots and archive material made by Yuri himself. This is an epic and extreme
confrontation between man and animals.
Sasha Snow, fotografo, ha iniziato a lavorare come montatore per la BBC
nel 1991. Ha studiato cinema documentario alla National Film & Television School, dove si è diplomato nel 2000 con A St. Petersburg Symphony.
Nel 2002 ha realizzato Arctic Crime & Punishment.
The photographer, Sasha Snow, started working as an editor for the BBC
in 1991. He studied documentary cinema at the National Film & Television School, where he achieved a diploma in 2000 with ‘A St. Petersburg
Symphony’. In 2002 he realized ‘Arctic Crime & Punishment’.
