Niagara Escarpment 2014, Riesling Dolomite, Cave Spring # 705 | 45 This wine is named for layers of dolomitic limestone unique to the Niagara Escarpment. This Riesling bears the mark of its origins. The calcareous clays of these sites contribute to the intense aromatics and mineral textures that are its signature. Niagara On The Lake 2013, Gewurztraminer, Cattail Creek Estate #707 | 50 Heady aromas of oranges, lemon oil, lychees, peaches and roses in full bloom. The residual sweetness rounds out the palate making this wine as flavourful as it is aromatic. The citrus notes come to the forefront supported by roses and orange blossom in the finish. A full bodied wine with intense plum & wild cherry flavours. Notes of toasted oak provide a lingering finish. Niagara Escarpment 2014 Small Lot Gamay, Malivoire Wine #203 | 50 Bright, fruity aromas of cherry compote, blueberry and rhubarb, spiced by caramel, cedar and mint. The texture in the mouth is bright and supple with a berry patch of flavours including cherry, loganberry, cranberry and red currant with a suspicion of white pepper on the finish. 2013 Unfiltered Niagara Pinot Noir, Norman Hardie #204 | 90 Norman Hardie is one of the masters of Ontario Pinot Noir. His Niagara Pinot is made in a big and rich style with vivid fruit and tremendous structure.
