VDR-S designed by Alnet Systems is
a professional digital recording
system with video transmission
capability. Thanks to the innovative
solutions in the image compression
technology our system is perfect for
digital surveilance through low
bandwidth transmission media
such as GSM/GPRS and Dial-Up.
The differential image-compression
method, while preserving excellent image quality, allows longer image
recording than in other systems of this type, at the same file size. It allows to
record up to 60 days on the 60 GB hard drive for 16 cameras (5 fps for each
camera). These parameters are very hard to achieve by MPEG4 and
Wavelet compression systems. Differential image-compression is also useful
for sending video via low bandwidth connections.

PocketPC (PDA) or mobile
phones (Symbian OS or
SmartPhone platform).

Client application for mobile phones and
PocketPC allows to monitor the system from any
place in the world. For instance security guards
have full "live" access to the cameras just by
using simple pocket PDA along with wireless
network connection. This solution allows to
increase security efficiency and reduce the
number of security personel. VDR-S digital
recording system is perfect for remote
monitoring of multi installations spread
throughout a large area. Connection to the
VDR-C client application can be estabilished
with the use of cable or wireless transmission
technologies such as GPRS/EDGE based on
TCP/IP protocol. Our Mobile Client software
provides easy and simple access to live video
from the VDR-S server using the mobile phone
network. The archives or live image can be
viewed from any location in the world, in full
color, on the screen of a mobile phone. This
client already supports or will support most
popular cell phones based on Symbian OS,
PocketPC or SmartPhone.
Mobile VDR-C client software designed by Alnet
contains most of the functionality found in PC based
VDR-C: PTZ dome control, relays, alarm inputs, remote
archive view.
Unique and simple user interface guarantees easy
system control even for beginner users. Number of
advanced functions and possibilities of the VDR-S
server allow to create very functional digital recording
systems for professional users. Wide variety of hardware
configurations allows to build simple and complete
