Traduzione in inglese: Dear Diary, I had a strange dream last night: It was evening and the time was 81/2. I was on my way home from the cinema, where I had seen the film Rome, Open City for first time. I can’t understand why I was in the middle of La strada walking home. Then I remember that I live in a city plagued with bicycle thieves and vow to find The Bicycle Thief who stole my bike. It’s cold and I think I’m running a Fever, but I’m hungry because today all I ate was some Bread and Chocolate. If by Chance I should arrive in time at home I’ll have a great big dinner prepared for me just like in the movie Big Night. On approaching my house I notice darkness and reach into my pocket to find that I don’t have The Keys to the House. It’s snowing and all of a sudden I see a caiman e then a tiger. I find myself in front of my house with The Caiman, The Tiger and the Snow falling gently as The Wind Blows Round. I’m afraid; I can’t Win against a tiger and a caiman! But if this has to be the end of me, I think to myself, then I would like The Last Kiss to be from Sophia Loren in the film Two Women, and I’m the Divo playing the part of Michele who kisses Sophia Loren lying on the grass under a sky of falling bombs in an Italy that resembles the biblical Gomorrah. In this Quiet Chaos, Sophia Loren and I are Swept Away. At this point we dream of America and on The White Space of a blank page we write the words: Cinema Insieme. After this I woke up.
