Organiser
The international regatta will be organized by A.S.D. Canottieri Gavirate and Italian
Rowing Federation.
Athletes in order to be classified have the possibility to race at the International
Regatta on Friday 17th , Saturday 18th and Sunday 19th May 2013.

4+ LTA mix,
2x TA mix,
1xAS M,
1xAS F,
1x TA M,
2x LTA mix (new event!!)
 Fixed start, on 6 lanes
 All races will be over 1000m.
 The length of the course may change over 2000m based on the
decision of the FISA Congress (Feb 2013).
 There will be three days regatta starting on FRIDAY afternoon and
ending on SUNDAY.
 General program:
o Heats/race for lanes on Friday afternoon (17,00)
o Finals A-B etc. on Saturday morning (9,30)
o Heats/race for lanes on Saturday afternoon (17,00)
o Finals A-B etc. on Sunday morning (9,30)
Boats:
Only a limited number of loan boats are available and will be preferably given to
overseas teams, for request:

Regatta Fee
No fee to pay to compete at the International Adaptive Regatta on Friday 17th
Saturday 18th and Sunday 19th of May.

Classifications will be held at: Gavirate Rowing Centre on Friday 17th of May.
Venue
International Adaptive Regatta is held at the Gavirate Rowing Centre on the Lake of
Varese.

Ways to get to Gavirate
By plane:
Gavirate Rowing Centre is situated at 20 km from MILAN MALPENSA Airport
Teams are kindly requested to use this airport.
By road:
The Gavirate Centre is a 15 minute drive from Varese town.
Directions from Highway

Coming from south take Milano laghi following the way to Varese, then get the
gate Lago di Varese – Gavirate.
Coming from west take Gravellona Toce direction Varese, then get the gate
Vergiate – Sesto Calende.
By rail
From Milan at Cadorna Railway station, get Ferrovie TreNord Train direction to
Laveno.
60 minute trip get you to the station Gavirate.
Gavirate Rowing Centre is within 10 minutes walking distance from the Railway.

Participants at the International Regatta, are requested to make there own
arrangements for accommodation.

International Adaptive Regatta entries
Entries per boats for International Adaptive Regatta should be submitted before April
25th 2013 (module A)
Entries with names must be sent by May 10th 2013.
Each NF is asked to go on http://entry.canottaggio.net, to make entries directly.
Once you get inside the site, please follow instructions.
Closing Date for Classification
Nominations for classification should be submitted on the attached form. In order to
make sufficient preparations, we would like to receive classification nominations by
May 2nd , 2013.
