La suola CX CARBON è unica e diversa da tutte le altre suole sul mercato.
E’ composta da TORAY MR60 che è una fibra di carbonio altamente modulare 40Ton. Le fibre di carbonio vengono sovrapposte
l’una sull’altra fino ad ottenere 9 strati orientati a 0° 45° 90°. Ogni orientamento conferisce alla suola una diversa peculiarità: 0°:
massima rigidità e reattività. 45° : incredibile rigidità torsionale per una sensazione di reattività e solidità trasmesse ad ogni pedalata 90° : forza e durata per una costante e lunga performance. Per la suola CX CARBON sono previsti 4 strati a 0° orientamento.

di riferimento per il posizionamento delle tacchette e prevede la superficie porosa per evitare l’uso di ulteriori materiali come la

The CX CARBON sole is pretty special and different from all the other soles in the market. The sole is made from Toray MR60, this
is a 40Ton High Modulus Carbon Fiber. There are 9 layers in total. The fibers are orientated at 0°, 45° and 90°. Each degree provides different features: 0°: maximum stiffness and responsiveness. 45°: incredible tortional rigidity allowing an ultra responsive
and firm steering feel. 90°: strength and durability for long life and consistent high performance. In the CX CARBON sole there are
4 layers at 0° orientation, 4 layers at 45° orientation and 1 layer at 90° orientation. The orientation is from inside to outside. The
CX CARBON has also a special “reference table” for the cleat positioning. A porous surface to avoid the use of other materials like
the sandpaper.

La nuova suola DMT approvata da Speedplay® prevede una sezione perfettamente piatta che è direttamente compatibile
con i sistemi di pedali Speedplay® a quattro fori. Questa nuova suola non necessità di adattatori di tacchette richiesti invece
nel montaggio di pedali su suole con sistema a tre fori. Test aerodinamici svolti nella galleria del vento hanno dimostrato
che la combinazione dei pedali Speedplay® con scarpe DMT che abbiano suole approvate Speedplay® offrono 33 secondi
all’ora di vantaggio rispetto a scarpe e pedali convenzionali.
Un ulteriore vantaggio è una minore distanza fra il piede e l’asse del pedale che garantisce una minor dispersione
di potenza. L’assenza di adattatori inoltre rende la scarpa più leggera.

The new Speedplay® Approved sole from DMT provides a perfectly flat platform which is directly compatible with Speedplay®
four-bolt pedal systems. This new sole eliminates the need for adapter plates required when mounting the pedals on shoes
with conventional three-bolt soles.
Wind tunnel tests have shown the combination of the Speedplay® pedals with DMT shoes employing Speedplay® Approved
soles to provide a 33 second per hour advantage over conventional shoes and pedals. Additional benefits include a lower
stack height which positions the foot closer to the pedal axle and facilitates more efficient transfer of power. The absence
of adaptors also makes the shoe lighter.
Quando si montano le tacchette Speedplay® direttamente sulle scarpe DMT con la suola approvata Speedplay® è obbligatorio usare il kit Speedplay®

ll meccanismo/leva consiste in un dispositivo di serraggio a cavo senza l’ausilio di un rotore classico, ma di una leva più tradizionale
disposta in maniera ergonomica per la regolazione della chiusura. Inoltre il dispositivo meccanismo/leva ha il vantaggio di essere
sostituito velocemente grazie al suo incastro a baionetta nel caso di una rottura accidentale dell’apparato stesso.
RAM consente di allentare e stringere la chiusura tirando il dispositivo per ottenere il massimo comfort e performances.

The mechanism/lever consists in a cable closure device without the aid of a classic rotor but it’s a more traditional ergonomic
lever. The new RAM has the advantage to be easily replaced in case of necessity thanks to its bayonet joint. RAM can be worked
loose or closed by opening the device in order to obtain the maximum comfort and performances.

ll meccanismo/leva consiste in un dispositivo di serraggio a cavo senza l’ausilio di un rotore classico, ma di una leva più tradizionale
disposta in maniera ergonomica per la regolazione della chiusura. Inoltre il dispositivo meccanismo/leva ha il vantaggio di essere
sostituito velocemente grazie al suo incastro a baionetta nel caso di una rottura accidentale dell’apparato stesso.
RAM consente di allentare e stringere la chiusura tirando il dispositivo per ottenere il massimo comfort e performances.

The mechanism/lever consists in a cable closure device without the aid of a classic rotor but it’s a more traditional ergonomic

given also by the 2X-DENSITY CONTROL strap. The new micro-ratchet fastening closure is
simple, small and compact, to have the maximum control in every moment. At each pulling
of the lever the strap closes of 6mm. To release just press the red central button.
