The exhibition Eataly per Duomo, opened on October 14th 2014, includes a
number of outstanding artworks on display, for the first time in history,
overseas. The exhibition wants to be a tribute to Milan and to its’ people, so
well symbolized by its most beloved monument, the Duomo.
This initiative wanted to create an ideal bridge between Milano and New
York, between Italy and United States, where the excellence of our country
are already the main characters, thanks to Eataly and beyond. It adds to the
food culture the great values of art and history of our country.

crowdfunding platform, ForItaly.org (exclusively dedicated to the
preservation of artistic and cultural Italian heritage) and has been dedicated
to the preservation of one of the 135 spires of the Duomo di Milano, the one
of Saint Frances, better known as Mother Cabrini, the first American Saint.
In this way International Patrons of the Duomo di Milano has offered to all
American citizens, the opportunity to contribute to the restoration of the
Duomo di Milano, adopting the spire that best represents the friendship and
the bond between Milan and New York between Italy and the United States.
At the end of the campaign, which raised $ 162,365, surpassing the goal of
$ 150,000, the spire of Mother Cabrini was dedicated to NIAF (the National
Italian American Foundation) and to all donors of International Patrons of
Duomo di Milano who made it possible, with their support, this first great
success.

Trip to Italy “Milano Unveiled”, October 1 – 4, 2015
As an invisible bridge, suspended between the United States and Italy,
International Patrons of the Duomo di Milano, to celebrate its first year of
activities, organizes a trip to Milan dedicated to its big donors, guiding its
guests to discover the hidden and precious treasures of which Milan is the
custodian.
This will be the occasion to meet the highest representatives of the city and
of the world of culture and the private citizens, heirs of some of the most
beautiful historical dwellings.
Fil rouge of the trip will be the Duomo di Milano, the custodian of the
documents that testify to the history of the city and center of the narrative
that will accompany the travelers through the places we will visit,
discovering Milan through the stories of the Milanese who have kept alive
the Cathedral for centuries.
